PET POLICY AND RULES
We are delighted to welcome your four-legged family members to Kick Back Beach Shack. To ensure the comfort of future guests and the safety of your pet, please review and agree to our pet guidelines below before booking:

1. Approved Pets Only
• All pets must be disclosed at the time of your enquiry/booking request.
• A maximum of 2 dogs are permitted per stay.
• All pets must be up to date with vaccinations, flea and tick treatments.
• Pet water and food bowls are provided.

2. House Rules for Pets

Furniture & Beds
• Pets are strictly prohibited from climbing onto beds, lounges and furniture.
• Please bring your pet's own bedding to make them feel at home.

Unattended Pets - When you leave the property

No Free-Roaming Indoors
• Pets must never be left alone or free-roaming inside the house unattended while you are away.

Crate Exception
• You may leave your pet indoors while you are out only if they are securely locked inside a pet crate. Guests must supply their own secure crate, as one is not provided by the property.

Outdoor Containment
• If you do not have a crate, your pet must be left safely in the secure backyard with plenty of shade and fresh water while you are away.

Leaving the Property
• When heading out for the day/night, please ensure all house doors and windows are securely locked. Doors must never be left open or propped open for your pet while you are away from the house.

Outdoor Shower & Sand
• If your dog goes to the beach, please use the Outdoor Shower to completely rinse off all sand and dirt before allowing them back inside the house.

3. Yard & Waste Clean Up
• Guests/Pet Owners are responsible for cleaning up their pet’s waste. A pooper scooper is provided.

•.Please bag up pet waste securely and dispose of it in the Outdoor Red Garbage Bin.

4. Damages & Liability
• Guest/Pet Owners assume full financial responsibility for any damage caused by their pet, including scratched doors and chewed furniture.

• If excessive barking or aggressive behaviour disturbs the neighbours, we reserve the right to ask you to find alternative boarding for your pet immediately.

5. Dog Friendly Beach Info
• A favourite local spot for dogs is One Mile Beach. However, please note that the local council enforces strict timed access rules to share the beach safely with swimmers – please always check council signage for times.


LINEN AND TOWEL POLICY
We provide a classic, relaxed holiday home experience, which means guests are required to bring their own linen and towels. You will need to bring:

• Flat and Fitted Sheets
• Pillowcases
• Bath and Hand Towels
• Bathmats
• Beach Towels

We supply all Mattress and Pillowcase Protectors, Pillows, Doona/Quilts, Blankets and Tea Towels.

What a beautiful view and overall top spot to stay in Forster! Kickback was the perfect beach shack for our family, including our dog, and we just wished we’d had more than a couple of nights to enjoy it there and all Forster has to offer. Comfortable and easy, relaxing coastal vibe, well-equipped kitchen, and the ocean views from the front deck were sensational. From there we kicked back and spotted many dolphins passing through frequently, which was a such a treat! Easy walk to One Mile Beach and the sand dune, and the cafe for morning coffees and milkshakes.

We had a fabulous stay at Kick Back Beach shack. The communication for access was seamless and any questions we had were answered promptly. The view was amazing and it was a 5 min walk to a fabulous beach with a cafe. Would definately stay again. Was great for our little dog as well.

Beautiful beach shack

We enjoyed our stay very much! The property has been well maintained & thoughtfully decorated so that it is comfortable and feels like a well loved beach house! The bedrooms are a good size and both enjoy the same amazing view!The large deck is great for outdoor dining with sea views & it is only a short walk to one Mile Beach.

Stunning views!

We stayed at the Kickback Beach Shack for the 4th time for a week between Christmas and New Year and had the most wonderful holiday. The stunning views are incredible and the house suited us so well, 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 cavoodles just loved it. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic house - spectacular views

Perfect holiday house - amazing views. We loved everything from waking up watching spectacular sunrises from the warmth of our cozy beds to sitting on the deck with a G&T watching the dolphins frolic in the waves as the sun set! One mile beach is lovely too - some spectacular snorkeling at the south end - soooo many fish!

Paradise all year round!

We had our second stay at this glorious property, 6 days of perfect weather with our two dogs in July. Watching the incredible sunrises from the verandah, seeing whales and dolphins frolicking in the ocean each day. We stayed in summer and now in winter, the home is perfect all year round & we will definitely be back!

They’ve worked out what’s important with out the frills and a good location. Kudos for having extra everything like crockery and cutlery to make it feel homely and not stingey. Would have like option for linen service though.

Great holiday home

The Kick Back Beach Shack is an awesome holiday home just a short walk from beautiful beaches. The views are gorgeous and the home comfortable and welcoming. The yard was secure and safe for the dog and we really appreciated the provision of bowls and a comfy trampoline doggy bed. Pet friendly and pet safe holiday options like this one are invaluable. The beds were cosy and the facilities were terrific. Would love to come and stay again sometime soon. Wonderful!

We Didn’t Want to Leave!

Our family of 4, plus 2 cavoodles, had the most wonderful 5-night stay. The photos don’t do this property justice. The house is perfect, so clean and it has everything you could need. The ocean views are incredible and we loved watching the sun rise and set, listening to the sound of the ocean and the birds. I cannot recommend this property more highly. We have been holidaying in Forster for almost 20 years and this is our best rental yet. We will definitely be back!

A total gem on One Mile Beach

This is possibly the best place on One Mile. We’ve been back twice now and will be staying again. Rachel is a fantastic host and truly cares about your stay. Kitchen is well stocked in kitchen ware, tops little BBQ (we didn’t manage to use this time) and all things to make it feelLike home. We stayed on top of our laundry! Gorgeous view, the birds are hilarious to watch, and the dolphins come in daily. Great spot and will be back! THANK YOU!!

Wow we loved our Easter stay. The view, the location, and everything about the house was just perfect. We really liked the fact it was out of the main centre of Forster. Kitchen facilities were great and really well supplied. It was clean and the beds weee really comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the big lounge reading, watching the view and catching up on our latest shows. The beach was beautiful and our dog loved the morning and afternoon walks. We will definitely be back to One Mile beach and if we are lucky to get into Kick Back shack again, we couldn’t be happier.

Fabulous!

We loved the home, layout, cleanliness, location, views, how dog friendly it was! Fences are great, the dogs cannot escape and quiet neighbours meant they had a peaceful time. A perfect hub to explore from. Very comfortable and quiet at night. Kids had a blast on the sand dunes and beach we could walk to. Saw dolphins swimming every morning from the window. Watched the sunrise over the water. Perfect!

Another Week in Paradise!

Thank you for another wonderful stay in your perfect spot overlooking One Mile Beach. We have stayed at the house in both summer and winter and will keep coming back. The view is exquisite, the sound of the ocean in every room is so relaxing. We love bringing our two cavoodles to stay and joining the local, friendly community on morning and afternoon dog walks along the beach, the many wonderful restaurants and far too many gelatos as we watched dolphins frolicking in the water at the end of dinner each night. We feel refreshed, rejuvenated and ready for our busy Sydney life after our stay at this oasis! 10/10!

What a little gem! Stunning views - watch the sun rise and set every day from the lounge room and bedrooms. Very clean. Everything in great condition. Amazing shower! Two toilets is great with only one bathroom. Very dog friendly and safe for fur babies. Driveway is very steep but worth it for the view. Kitchen brilliantly stocked, huge new fridge, everything actually felt new! Bringing your own sheets and towels is no big deal at all. So close to beautiful swimming beach and we swam daily in late June. A few minutes to shops and cafes. Ten out of ten
