Yvette left the house in a bad way - there were bits of food all over the house - one of the beds had chocolate all over the sheets and doona - there were drink cans and icy pol packets in the bathroom on the bedroom level - food crumbs everywhere. Nothing was put back in the right place in the kitchen and took a long to re-organise the kitchen and get everything back in order. The dishwasher had lots of food scraps in it. I took photos of everything. The beds looked kids had wrestled on them. They made no attempt to tidy up before they left - after 7 days - they just walked out. Electric cars (2) being charged alternately almost everyday without my permission. I would not recommend these guests to future hosts. Not respectful guests.

Some people are a little precious, over sensitive and difficult to please. My 80 year old neighbour has no problem walking up the hill each day when she goes for her daily walk. Yes, there are a few signs in the house. One of them gives you directions for an alternate route to the beach - the other has my phone contact details for emergencies. These guests were given an extra late check out of 4pm and had two additional guests which weren’t on their initial booking. You would think they would be grateful. Marina Starfish Beach House

Hi Caitlin, Thank you for your lovely review! Usually the phone reception is pretty good. The Hotspot is up in the loft - the best place for reception for phone and Wifi. My theory is when there are Navy ships in the bay - it somehow interferes with everything! There were three ships in the bay while you were there and that may be the reason you didn't have reception. Hi Jun, Thanks for the review. Your son left me the loveliest review in the guest book in house saying how much you all loved the house. The council has been very pro-active in managing the traffic and have installed a round about on the way into the village. Once the village is at capacity - the day trippers are stopped at this round about and they cannot enter. This last peak season was very pleasant with no issues at all regarding traffic.
