We have stayed in Noosa housing (PetFriendly) by far the easiest house we have rented.
The beautiful bush lands, very quiet peaceful soundings, central to Hastings street, our favourite place the Noosa river, would stay here again. Thank you Mike for been very helpful with helping our stay more comfortable.
The owners were very helpful, lots of good info on the house & prompt replies. The house is fairly modern, open plan, spacious in a tree/bush setting. I had a lovely stay & would definitely rebook. Thank you...💕🙏
I did a long stay here with husband and toddler. Overall the shack is a great, spacious holiday house with awesome kitchen and relaxing outside deck area. Can be tricky with little ones and the external stairwell linking to downstairs but otherwise the place has everything you need and in easy walking distance to the junction. Mike and Sim are probably the best hosts you’d ever get, communicative and super responsive. Would reccomend!
We love staying at The Shack, the location is fantastic, pet friendly and Sim and Mike are great communicator’s which makes for a great stress free holiday. We’ll be booking again for next year.
Very unique Canopy House close to Noosa Junction. Great location. Very relaxing amongst the trees. Our family and little dog really enjoyed staying here.
What a fabulous location, handy to dogfriendly beach at Sunshine beach. Accomodation clean, modern and cool. Loved the separate adults retreat. Would be fabulous for a group of friends with plenty of party space on the connecting verandah.
Loved it!
Mike and Sim were great hosts - easy going and prompt with answering all our pre-holiday questions. The house is really comfortable, and we especially loved the open deck area for lazing around in the breeze. Very interesting layout - encouraging both gathering and separateness.
We have stayed in Mike and Sim’s house twice now and have booked again. It’s a great location, walk to shops/restaurants and beach and the house is great, our dog loves it too.
Mike was a great host and replied to all our questions quickly. The house was very clean and well equipped. The footpath almost opposite the driveway made the stroll into Noosa Junction a breeze. We loved checking out the wide range of cafes and bars - IMO better than Hastings St. A great place to explore!
This property provided the relaxation and space we had hoped for, catering very well to family members spanning 3 generations, as well as our 11 year old pug dog. Separate sleeping areas provided individual space whilst the expansive deck, kitchen and living areas brought us all together. The spacious and well stocked kitchen allowed us to prepare Christmas lunch - no small feat! Only a 5 minute walk to Noosa Junction shops (via pathway opposite) and a 5 minute drive to Hastings street. Lovely quiet street. Thanks Mike and Sim for a fabulous stay. Amanda.
We were very happy with our stay at this house at Noosa Heads, it was great to be able to have our dogs stay with us and the house was clean, quiet, central and well presented.
Everything we wanted was there and plenty of room.

Lovely setting
We enjoyed our stay at the shack. We did find, though, that the house didn’t flow well due to the layout. We had not realised that there was no internal connection between upstairs and down. The kitchen was lovely and the set down lounge room very cosy. We had to do a lot of cleaning of the deck area as it was very dusty and the seats were covered in leaves. I think that it had probably been vacant for a while but it made it uncomfortable to walk through all the dust. Making sure the outdoor deck area is clean upon arrival would make it so much nicer. I would recommend it as a relaxing stay in a lovely setting.

Beautiful space.
We had a lovely short break at The Shack, lovely house and great decking area, in one of the most beautiful bush setting, and a very short walk into the shops. However with small children we found the layout of the house unsuitable, being that the bedrooms are downstairs and the stair case is outdoors, so you had to retire early with the children. Having said that for adults the home is fantastic.

The Ultimate Retreat!
From the minute we arrived at ‘The Shack’ we were nothing short of delighted. The house is beautifully designed, immaculately clean and well presented. Compared to the many hotels and holiday apartments we have stayed in, The Shack has some of the best amenities we have experienced.
The location is perfect – walk just 2 minutes to Noosa Junction, and about 10 to 15 minutes minutes to Hastings St. We drove to all the other hot spots – Sunshine Beach, Noosa River, etc. – all within about 5 minutes.
The central, fully shaded deck was the perfect location to host quiet family get togethers and offered great views over both the gardens and Noosa national park. The upper living areas and master bedroom are a wonderful retreat – the separation allowed the adults to continue to enjoy each others company whilst the kids were sound asleep downstairs.
To top it all off, the hosts were extremely accommodating; fitting us in at the last minute and tending to our every need throughout our stay to make our first time in Noosa an absolutely memorable one. We have already decided to re book the home for a larger family holiday later in the year, and we can’t wait to be back.
