About this property

Point Lonsdale Beach House

A classic, comfortable O'Dowd designed beach house. The home has two large bedrooms with vaulted ceilings - master bedroom with recently renovated ensuite has a shower and a seperate bathtub. The open plan living/dining area has floor to ceiling windows. A newly purchased large flat screen TV with DVD is available for your enjoyment. Two fans and a portable A/C will keep you comfortable on even the hottest summer days - and electric blankets and a gas heater for those cooler months.

The large open kitchen has also been recently tiled, is fully stocked and has a full size fridge and dishwasher, a wall oven and a seperate cooktop. A coffee maker, slow cooker and electric skillets are also available for your convenience. The Master bedroom has a double bed and the 2nd bedroom has a new queen bed and bedside tables. Both bedrooms also have iPod docks. A rollaway bed, a queen size blow-up bed, and a cot are available for an extra person. ALL towels and linens are supplied for you. A seperate laundry room has a frontloading washer and a condenser dryer, and there is a retractable clothes line in the back garden.

Fully fenced and gated, the property is kid and pet friendly, however we do ask that dogs are outside only please in the kennel we have provided.

A BBQ and outdoor furniture are available on the deck for dining under the stars, or to just sit and relax with your morning coffee under the grapevine shading the pergola.


Attractions

Nearby beaches are only a 2 minute walk away, and a further few minutes along the Promenade will get you to the village with all it's shops and cafes. Go swimming or snorkeling on the family friendly front beach, or drive to the back beach to surf. During the summer, spring and autumn stroll through a number of nearby markets for fruit, veggies and handcrafted gifts. Visit close-by Queenscliff for fishing, diving, boating, tennis or picnic in Queens Park. For the golfers, Point Lonsdale Golf Club is a short drive up the hill. There are also a number of world-class wineries nearby. The last weekend of November hosts the Queenscliff Music Festival, a fabulous 3 days of music and entertainment at numerous venues in the area. Well worth the visit!

Great little get away

Great little get away with the kids for a few days. Although we didnt spend a lot of time at the house the time we did spend there it was quite cosy.. homely. This property had everything that we needed.
