* This cabin is in in the "Lodges at Eagles Nest", which has amenities across 3000 acres with elevation over 5500 feet. Our private cabin is in this family friendly community, 6 miles up the mountain base in Banner Elk, NC.
* Lodges at Eagles Nest is the most beautiful, and unique gated community, with spectacular views to support your outdoor family adventure spirit.
== Cabin Highlights:
* 1 bedroom, 1 bath, 2nd floor studio apartment with game room and garage. 864 square foot living space. This cabin features hardwood floors, vaulted tongue and groove ceilings, wood stove fireplace, a spacious bedroom and oversized windows and small elevated deck to highlight the natural beauty of the property.
* The apartment cabin has been referred by some as an in-law suite above the garage. It’s comfortable and spacious.
* We provide linens and list the property for 2 people. However, we allow up to 6 guests at no additional charge for families that wish to squeeze into the chalet. Provided is a queen bed, twin fold out memory foam bed, full size airbed, pull-out sofa bed.
* First floor has a bar shuffle board. Guest have access to a one car garage.
* Free high-speed WiFi for remote work or entertainment.
* Two SMART TVs with multiple streaming apps via Roku.
* GAS GRILLE and extra propane tanks are stored in the garage for your use.
* Use of one (1) car garage.

* This cabin is uniquely positioned in Camp Eagles Nest to provide easy access to all these amenities. Plus Hiking trails are just steps from your cabin.

* NORTH PAVILION (2 miles from cabin): Ball Field, Basketball Sports Court,Dog Park, Sportsman Lodge with 70” TV large indoor log fire, Cafe Bistro available Saturday and Sunday when in season, Walking Trails, Snow Tubing/Sledding Hill, Large outdoor Fire Pit with mountain views, Woodland Trail System (ATV Trails, Hiking, Biking).
* Eagles Nest Winery, offering wines from Napa Valley grapes, just 4 miles away. This is an optional and additional fee to access the Winery.

* Flexible check-in after 4 PM, and check-out by10 AM.
* No parties or events, smoking inside cabin.
* FOLLOW CHECK OUT LIST and remove trash at departure.
* Follow pet policy, by submitting notice and paying fee for each dog.
Notable:
* Brewed and Keurig coffee makers provided for your convenience.
* An adjacent cabin on the 3 acre lot is available to rent separately if you require additional space. Perfect in-law suite, or for giving grown children their own space.
* SURVEILLANCE DEVICE ON PROPERTY: Two security camera's on outside deck of main cabin.
* HOUSEKEEPING – We work hard to have a clean unit. If there happens to be a housekeeping issue, please send pictures upon checking-in.
* WEATHER & AWD: No weather related refunds. 4x4 / AWD required in winter months. Tire chains needed when there is snow/ice. Guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from the cabins.
* Firewood is not provided.
* SHARED SPACES - There are two neighboring cabins on the 3 acre property. Shared spaces include: fire pit and outdoor parking.

Getting Around:
DRIVING DIRECTIONS to our cabins at The Lodges at Eagles Nest: - Front gate address: 51 Eagles Nest Trail | Banner Elk NC 28604 - Drive to this address, which is the font gate and is at the base of the mountain.
A gate code will be provided prior to check-in. Codes change monthly. From the front gate, it is a 5.6 mile drive, mostly up hill on windy roads through mountain terrain.
Note: DO NOT FOLLOW GPS DIRECTIONS DIRECTLY TO THE CABIN ADDRESS AS YOU WILL GET LOST. DRIVE TO THE FRONT GATE ADDRESS PROVIDED.
AWD or 4x4 automobile required in the snowy winter months. Snow chains recommended with snow or ice. - Plenty of parking space is available on the property. It’s a 3 acre lot. And a garage for those that rent the apartment cabin.
