Perfect relaxed property for a group share. A group of 10 friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay, both cooking ‘at home’ and going out locally. A good 20 minute walk to the centre of town, so easy to access cafes and shops. Right near the interesting Mill Markets. Beautiful front garden that would be well shaded for a summer meal outside. Adrian is a great host.

The house is very old and consists of a number of separate areas where small groups could meet but with a very large common area near the main kitchen where the full group can be together for important moments such as meals/celebrations etc.The kitchen is very spacious with an excellent arrangement of items to make any meal option very easy as well as an external BBQ.Three bathrooms each with toilet made for a very comfortable stay also.Our visit was near end of winter and the heating option is excellent with the whole house readily heated along with individual control for all bedrooms and common areas.Although they can be noisy there is an abundance of birdlife attracted to the trees/gardens - Cockatoos, Kookaburras, Rosellas (mostly Crimson), Ducks and the occasional Magpie.The Host (Adrian) was excellent with very easy contact possible through web-messages or mobile phone.

Daylesford weekend

Eleven friends and I had a lovely stay at Tasma House. The beds were incredibley comfortable and the house itself cosy and interesting. We had a lovely time and all hope to return.

Girls Weekend

We spent 2 nights here as a group of 13, the house & grounds are amazing & the beds are so comfortable. The location is an easy walk into town with so much to see & do. Highly recommend.

We bought some outdoor activities with us to supplement the trampoline. Shops walking distance away.Two improvements suggested;1) coffee pods to go with the provided tea bags2) multiple front door keys - the single one provided inadequate for large groups of guests (up to 16)

Great weekend at Tasma House

Had a great weekend in a well fitted out eclectic residence. Plenty of room to spread out in a quiet and tranquil part of Daylesford. Family had a great time.

Great property for a large group

We loved staying at this eclectic property. We were a group of 9 and there was ample room for everyone to be together. The house was well appointed and warm. Would definitely go back again

Fabulous House

This was a fabulous house for catering to the needs of our large group. It is well set up for immense enjoyment. Adrian was prompt to reply to any requests and I highly recommend this property as a wonderful retreat.

Spacious and a photographic location with a different feel

Spacious clean and a photographic location with a different feel to traditional accommodation. Gardens and the trampoline provided ample entertainment for the kids. Could improve on the bathrooms especially in the main building, but not a big deal.

Wonderful place to stay!

This was wonderfully suitable for our family of 16 (3 generations) to gather. Enough room to be together (in the living/dining area or outside) and plenty of space for smaller groups or individuals to have some quiet time. I was impressed that there was plenty of crockery and the BBQ and picnic boxes were great. We loved the personal touches - sheet music, books, paintings etc, and the seasonal decorations. I can't recommend highly enough!

Intriguing adventurous family times

We had a riotous family week with nature walks, hikes, garden games, and shady long lunches and diners outside. Shared with the cockatoos , ducks , Australia ravens and lizards. Fabulous. Fun family atmosphere . Thank you

family friendly

stay was great for family with a few hic ups, 2nd kitchen was a mouse haven. carpets were fusty and lack of fly screens made cooling the house an issue with no aircon.

Very cosy

My large family of 14 plus 3 babies recently stayed for a weekend at Tasma House, Daylesford. We had a wonderful time there. The huge rustic living room/ kitchen is great for a big group. The property is cosy, comfy and authentic. The bed linen is crisp and white. The children thoroughly enjoyed the garden and the in ground trampoline. Adrian, our host was delightful.
