The elevated contemporary north facing beach front property has a spacious, kitchen/dining/ lounge area and large decks all with stunning uninterrupted views of the tranquil 5km sandy beach, bush land and sea views to American River . The house has four bedrooms (2 queen, 4 singles) 2 bathrooms. Flat screen TV, DVD, CD player. Fully self contained kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, and roasting BBQ and out door setting on the deck.

Boats can be launched from the beach and anchored in front of the house.

Island Beach

Pentelows beach front property is located on pristine Island Beach, which is a 5km long, north facing, white sandy beach which provides safe, sheltered swimming, ideal for children.. It is situated 14km from Penneshaw (an easy 15 min drive from ferry terminal)
The area is a haven for yachties and a well-known fishing spot for KI whiting and a great base for exploring the rest of the island.

Kangaroo Island is world known for its wildlife. Expect birdlife to visit you on the deck including the superb blue wren and the currawong. Feed pelicans on the beach. Brush tail possums, wallabies, pygmy possums and goannas can also be seen locally. Visit Pennington Bay, a swimming and surfing beach only five minutes from the house or book a local fishing charter. For good local food and wine, visit the Sunset Winery, Dudley Wines and Chapman River Wines. Kangaroo Island is proud of its local artists and there are many galleries to view and purchase art works.

Amazing Christmas stay!

Fantastic location

Beautiful views from amazing accommodation. Full range of facilities, magnificent views. Could just wander down to the wonderful beach - watching the pelicans & occasional dolphin. Very quiet & private position.

Loved it. Perched above the fine white sands and that limpid blue water of Island Beach. Comfortable accommodation for our two families; kitchen well kitted out for holiday cooking, generous with the basics left in pantry for guest use. Amazing Holiday Home on a stunning beach with excellent features and facilities!

Beautiful home situated on the most child friendly beach we have ever encountered. The home itself was brilliantly presented, clean with great facilities. The layout is great for accomodating 2 families and the kitchen living and dining area is spacious. The deck is great, and as the property is north facing it is well sheltered from the wind. Great Weber bbq and Nespresso machine. Island Beach is stunning with no waves and a haven for fishing in the torquise waters just past the buoy line. Absolutely no regrets. Will return every year!

Incredible Island Beach stay

The house was immaculate, so clean and tidy. Incredible views of island beach white sand and crystal clear blue water. Fantastic deck that was safe for our 2 year old to play on. Perfect location not far from Penneshaw. Felt as though we had a private beach to ourselves. We will be back and will highly recommend staying here to friends and family.

House is in a great location with lovely views. We spent multiple days on the beach and explored the island. Catered for our family and friends beautifully and we made some great memories! Stunning location

Had an amazing time with the family in such a magic location. Spent most days on the pristine beach and the great sized deck. Well equipped kitchen and spacious living area. We have since retired to Adelaide but escape back to idyllic KI when ever we can.
