Stunning location nestled into the dunes and scrub, overlooking beautiful Island Beach. The home is very comfortable with everything we needed for meals including BBQ, relaxing and venturing down to the beach to enjoy kayaking. Indoor and outdoor living areas gave us plenty of options for gathering together and finding your own quiet place.

Wonderful ocean views and having wallabies and birds off the decking to watch was amazing. The house had everything we needed for cooking dinner each night, as night driving is best avoided out here (really appreciated the Nespresso machine!) and BBQ. We enjoyed exploring in the daytime and coming back to a comfortable home base. Would return for another trip one day without hesitation :)

Beautiful, roomy beach house on Kangaroo Island. Convenient to the ferry and an easy starting point to tour the island. Large and comfy with a primary BR at one end and basically an apartment at the other end with a mini kitchen and its own bathroom, so two couples sharing would both have primary bedrooms and en suite bathrooms. Lovely living room with gas fireplace, full kitchen, and huge deck overlooking the ocean. It’s a bit of a walk - two minutes or so, to the beach, and not wheelchair accessible, but very convenient otherwise. Highly recommended.

The house was great, amazing location just on the beach, and well equiped. We did have few very hot days during our stay and the house has no air con. It's not too bad if you are out during the day yet grandparents found it hard to be home with fans only.

KI Star was a fabulous place to stay on Kangaroo Island. The house was so well appointed, with an incredible sea view. We found this location to be suitable for our group (all adults), and gave us a great base to see so many parts of the island. We were surrounded by wildlife, with so many different animals passing by the deck area each day.Thank you to Angie for her great communication before and after our visit.

Absolutely wonderful house and location

We loved our stay at this property and have already recommended to friends. Great location with beach views (as per the listing). The deck area is great and kayaks were a bonus that was appreciated and used. Only regret was not staying longer than 4 nights on KI as there is a lot to do and there are fairly long distances between attractions.
