We stay here twice a year for over three years now. Business travel. It's always a comfortable stay. Always clean, with a little electric coffee pot, ground coffee, and cream, provided by owner. It's warm in winter, and a nice air conditioner during summer. Comfortable bed, great TV with Roku. The building is old, so expect a little noise from others but nothing to complain about. We look forward to our next stay.

Would like to give a higher rating cause it felt like they were trying (basic amenities with coffee and microwave popcorn) but the place was dirty; something on the bathroom ceiling, coated ceiling fan over bed, dirt in corners of the floor. There was only a trickle of hot water in bathroom sink. Had Roku but internet wasn't strong for streaming.
Location is the best thing about this place, and the second would be the historic building itself. Yes, the building is old, but it was still comfortable and provided everything I needed for my stay. They allow pets which is hard to come by sometimes, and I really appreciate establishments that understand pets don’t cause as much damage as humans sometimes. You can’t beat the price for the location and clean accommodations. I’ll be back for sure!
The Lodge was the perfect location to return to rest from our adventures. It's an older building, but everything was clean and had the ameneties that we needed, such as a mini fridge.
We had an enjoyable stay at the Clarkdale Lodge. Our room was very clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. But, the building is very old, the room was small, the TV had only 4 stations, and there was only a small shelf for my husband to use his CPAP machine. Had we both had one, we would have been in trouble. But, I would recommend the Clarkdale Lodge and would stay again when traveling through the area.
View on balcony and porches is unbelievable beautiful!! It’s a comfy room with all the little things like a good bed, coffee machine, fridge, and a lot of towels!!
It was lovely quiet weekend retreat!
We never met the host. Needed more coffee and trash emptied. Suggest a little place to buy items as there is no place to walk to get small stuff.
We booked the Verde Valley Train ride and saw a property in Clarkdale would be convenient. Should’ve looked in Cottonwood. The unit we booked had very little ventilation. The window air conditioner went on and off every seven seconds, the ceiling fan had only one speed which was high, so we felt we couldn’t sleep with it running all nigh, the windows were filthy, dirty, the lobby and outside seating area haven’t been dusted for I would say a couple of months.
Had an amazing stay at the clarkdale lodge! We were pleasantly surprised with the quaint room not to mention they are pet friendly which allowed us to bring our pup with us!

Comfortable
The room was very nice and clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend and come back here again. Loved the outdoor patio.
Our room was so nice and we had so much fun in Jerome that were planing another trip and I’m definitely going to plan the trip around the availability at the Clarkdale lodge. There’s ton pretty flowers and a garden. There’s a fantastic library upstairs that me and my fiancé are using for our engagement photos. The park outside is beautiful and so close to a lot of neat places to eat. 10/10 am coming again

Would definitely recommend. I'm planning another trip to Arizona and will use this resort again!
Really enjoyed our stay, perfect for my husband and I. Wish there were blackout curtains or some kind of darker curtains as the sun rises so early. The place was nice and clean and comfortable. The place was spacious and all amenities were great as in soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels, etc. Not sure is the coffee there was instant or just stale, but was bitter and weird.
We Loved it , Was great peaceful could use some weeding outside, but very homey just like home. Scenery is Beautiful , lots to enjoy, Thank you be back soon again.

Clarkdale Lodge - fun place to stay
The two of us stayed at the Clarkdale Lodge for 3 nights in early May. We had what was described as a "studio apartment", but was really like a small hotel room - kingsize bed, dorm-sized fridge, microwave, 2 cup coffee maker, TV and private bath. That being said it was a super friendly place - we loved going up to the second floor patio and meeting up and visiting with the other residents who were staying there. It was very quiet and pleasant, and provided easy access to Jerome, Cottonwood, and Sedona. We would go back.

Has a lot of charm
Very peaceful my dog had a great time at the park across the street, but seriously the bathroom sink and shelf needs to be leveled out
It was located in a good spot for us for what we wanted to do in the area. It was a very quiet safe place within walking distance to several good restaurants and bars.
