Terrible Stay

Very noisy neighborhood, terrible management that is supposed to be there to take of the property during your stay is just there to up charge for everything they can think of. 24-36 hour response time. Pool Heater never worked but you pre pay for services and amenities and then they don't work. Several power outages during our stay. Stay away from any rental home managed by Wonder Vacation Homes

Just as Listed

We had a good time at Storey Lake. It is a huge property and we were all the way towards the end. The main entrance is the only one where the bar code works all of the time. The other areas were more finicky. Cons— one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and no hand soap. Walmart was close by but those aren’t things you want to buy while on vacation. The pool in the backyard was FREEZING even when it was 90+ outside. Limit on the AC is frustrating. Pros— quick drive to Disney and Universal; looked exactly as it did in the pictures; very clean and up-to-date

Thank you Holly for your recent stay with Wonder Vacation Homes. It was a pleasure hosting you. Yes the bar code would only work for the main gates for the short-term renters. The other gates are for owner's access. As mentioned in the rental agreement you signed, we only provide initial set up of amenities since every guest has different needs. We suggest the guest can replenish per their needs, this is informed to you ahead of time so you can make arrangements for you. Pool water does not get heated by the outside temperature, the pool heater has to be requested ahead of your arrival as an additional amenity if the pool would like to be heated. But we are glad to hear that overall your stay was nice and hope that we can serve you even better next time.

I was given the wrong code kept calling the manger but he kept saying it was correct

I had to call Virgo because Manger gave me the wrong code we couldn’t get in also pool was cold when I paid for heater I took pictures when I arrived the unit had a lot of stains on the furniture after a two hour calling around finally received the rite code I took pictures when arrived and left cleaned the place but manger tried saying I left a stain on comforter and took fifty bucks from my deposit and never ask to see video and pictures when I checked this was a scam and joke also what about the two hours I was locked out were is my money so done😐

Greta stay

Property was clean and was just as listed. We have stayed in storey lake before and love the community. My only gripe is that even with paying for the pool heat, my kids wouldn’t swim in it; said it was too cold. Other than that, great property.

Modern nice home

Overall nice stay with spacious rooms. The only issues were: The house was clean but the floor didn’t seem to have been mopped thoroughly. Walking barefoot for 5 min my daughter’s feet were black. We paid for a 4 burner grill and upon check in the grill we had was dirty and it wasn’t a 4 burner plus the pool wasn’t cleaned with googles which were left in the pool. After several messages to the owner the issues were fixed. In addition, the AC wasn’t cooling the house at all. We checked the air filter and it was filthy black! We had to take it out and once it was taken out the home got cooler. The owner was also notified regarding the filter but it was never replaced throughout our stay. My family and I enjoyed our stay.
