What a fun and comfortable winter weekend at Berta’s Cottage! It was the thoughtful extras that made it so special for our family: a Breville coffee machine full of coffee with extra fresh beans in the pantry, a welcome gift of wine, crackers cheese and milk, lovely bathroom and kitchen products, plenty of cooking pans, serving plates and crockery, toys for both kids and dogs, a fenced backyard as well as a lockable homely garage to keep dogs safe and comfortable while out at night, heaters in all the bedrooms and a fabulous combustion fire with plenty of wood and kindling already collected for us. Communication with Rosemary was excellent and the late checkout on Sunday very much appreciated. Highly recommend.

The cottage was exactly as described in a beautiful peaceful country location. Perfect for a relaxing getaway. Close to Berry and a short drive to the beach, a perfect home base to explore the region.

Wonderful family stay

We had a wonderfully relaxing week at Berta's Cottage. The house is lovely with everything you could want, and the surrounding area is stunning. Nice proximity to Berry (close enough for some restaurants to deliver) and to the beach. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again.

Berta’s cottage was beautifully presented and equipped - right down to board games and gum boots supplied ready for rainy weather! Lovely peaceful location but still very close to Berry and Seven Mile Beach. We stocked up on fresh veggies and condiments from the organic markets and cooked some feasts with help from the fully stocked pantry.Out host was super-helpful assisting by phone when I had a hiccup with the door code.All in all. A beautiful family time in a perfect setting.

Beautiful Berta's Cottage in Berry

We and our dog, Sandy, enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was situated in a lovely rural area overlooking dairy farmland. We enjoyed the tranquillity, garden areas and surrounding places to visit. We look forward to staying again.

Location is the best of both worlds.

Loved that we were half way between Berry centre and the amazing 7 mile beach. Lovely house, very homely and beautiful backyard with an amazing view.
