A beautiful cozy cottage with a fireplace and warm electric blankets. Perfect for a winter getaway. The rocking chairs on the deck were relaxing and the bird life was abundant. Thank you for a great stay.

Loved it our only thing knocking it back from 5 stars overall was the fire didn’t seem to warm the loungeroom up enough for us. Keep in mind you need to replenish the wood by chopping it yourself which was fine for us but may be an issue for even older people.

Amazing little cottage, it was even better than in the photos! So cosy, there was everything we needed in the kitchen and thankfully heated blankets. Ideal location, close to Witchcliffe and Margaret River. I slept so well, the mornings are magical with the sun slowly rising and the mist setting on the paddocks around the property. I felt like I was back in childhood, in the English countryside. I didn't realize how much I missed being surrounded by nature, it's one thing to have a day or even weekend immersed in nature. But I think we all deserve to live in nature. Anyway, I highly recommend this little cottage, it does get cold inside (granted all houses are at this time of year), but its perfect for a little getaway! I will definitely be back!

Lovely cottage

We loved the surrounds of the cottage, emus, all the Birdlife and rabbits. Inside was warm and cosy with the fireplace. It had everything we needed.

Absolute must stay when visiting Margaret River!

Such a beautiful property in wonderful surroundings! Stayed with family of 7, including baby and toddler. We all had a fantastic time. Thank you so much for a great stay. Will be sure to visit again!

Swallows Cottage is a total delight- lovely position, original features, country ambience and quiet with birds and breeze and sweeping fields. A welcome sojourn from the surrounding beautiful beaches.

Quiet getaway in gorgeous cottage

We loved our stay - 5 mins each way to Witchcliffe and Margaret River, it was a great quiet getaway in the middle of the busy season. The cottage had everything you could need, well stocked kitchen and books, comfortable beds, laundry and board games for kids. The wildlife was amazing - friendly blue wrens, skinks and rabbits, and lots of property for the kids to ride their bikes around happily for hours. Thanks to Sally, we loved our stay

In love with this cottage

We absolutely loved this quaint little cottage waking up in the morning to the sound of sheep passing by the beautiful little self contained garden with fairy wrens darting in and out of the bird baths. It’s like visiting your nannas house it’s just so cute and relaxing. A lovely little homestead.

Family friendly cottage

Cottage was very clean with super comfy beds! Beautiful decor and all the kitchen ware needed for our large group. Spacious bedrooms, two porches so we were not tripping over each other. Good selection of board games and DVDs (phones took a back seat). Nice big country kitchen to sit and share meals. Highly recommend this property

Quick trip

2nd stay at swallows cottage. Just as lovely as the first visit. Well priced, gorgeous cottage - friend visiting from US during leavers’ week. cottage was perfect location to show off margs region WA from- very peaceful. Thoroughly recommend - from pretty, well appointed cottage and gardens to blue fairy wrens appearing on cue in the garden.

Loved Swallows Cottage

We loved cosy "Swallows cottage"..enjoyed the wood burner, birdlife,sheep,toys,hot shower,location. Just disappoined we couldn't notify host to let them know we had arrived also departed with in required times.
