'Allow yourself to be enchanted by Corca Dhuibhne (West Kerry),a land of stunning impressive mountains, spectacular coastline and sandy beaches.
Spend time in a place rich in tradition, literature and culture, where our native Irish language prospers but most of all spend time in a beautiful house where you can marvel at the splendour of its surroundings with every modern convenience the house offers privacy and comfort.
There is few places in the world that will thoroughly take your breath away as the view from inside or outside or on the patio of the cottage overlooking Clogher Beach /Sybhil Head and the 3 high points called the 3 sisters /mountains and the vast Atlantic Ocean,,, the most photographed point of the most scenic of drives .the home is only 20minute drive from idilic Dingle town
This is no ordinary cottage, quite apart from breath-taking views from every windows,the house is utterly delightful and comfortable with oil fired central heating,wooden floors and subtle decor which sets the tone in this tranquil hideaway. Situated right at the heart of what
National Geographic calls it 'the Most Beautiful Place on Earth .The spectacular views of the rugged cliffs which make up the coastline can be seen from every window of the house.
It overlooks Clochar Beach, Sybil head,The Three Sisters, Mount Brandon,Smerwick Harbour..It inspired classic films such as David Leans 'Ryan's Daughter' Tom Cruise/Nicole Kidman epic 'Far and Away'.
Situated on the Panoramic Slea Head drive and the Dingle Way,10Km from the quaint fishing town of Dingle, Golf links, horse riding,hill walking, and beautiful safe sandy beaches close by.
Sheep graze the lush land around the Stone House.
You can walk through the fields attached to the house and feel the freedom of living in the country also you can walk to the cliffs through the fields and sit on the stone wall and watch the waves and the ocean and the surrounding hills and cliffs and feel the peace and tranquility seep through your body!!
The house is probably the best situated on the dingle peninsula with views that awe-inspiring, the pictures that accompany this sight are all the the views you will experience from you visit.
The Kindest of Wishes;
Philomena O'Connor
For golfers with the beautiful Cean Sibeal 18 hole golf course links 5 minute drive from the house,
Walking/ Tracking; The surrounding area is full of trails also, the Dingle Way is on your door step so don't forget your walking boots and a few hidden gems that I myself can share with you.-Its an all inspiring location for writers, landscape artists or photographers alike.
The area is steeped in culture and history and surrounded by some of the most dramatic scenery in the world
The Dingle Peninsula is an anglers paradise spanning a coast line of over 100kms,ideal area for deep sea and shore angling close to the house,guided tours and walks can be arranged.
We speak Irish(Gaelic) as a first tongue and summer schools are held in Ballyferriter all summer for all ages who wants to learn or improve same,
Beaches;
Beal Ban Beach and Ventry Beach is only a short drive away with unspoilt white sand stretching for miles and safe for swimming,also Wine Strand,Black Strand,Coomanole beach which was a big part in' Ryans Daughters' movie and you are looking out from the house at our beloved Clogher Strand with its lovely white sand also close by is the little cove called Cuas Naoa where fishermen used go out to fish in there little canoe's in bye gone days.
The Connor Pass is the hightest pass in Ireland and provides specatacular views of the Lakes and Dingle Harbour.
Test your climbing skills and climb 3000 feet high Mount Brandon only a short drive then enjoy a glass of wine after on you balcony with the view of conquered mountain.
The Slea Head Drive meanders through some of the most ruggedly beautiful landscape in the world is on your door step (Literally).
Local Hangouts;
2Km from the village of Dun Chaoin(Duinquin) Kruger's pub (the nearest pub to America) and the Blasket Island heritage center and restaurant.
Near by; A good local Restaurant-cafe on your door step and the famous Murphy's Ice Cream is available there.
You will also see hens, chickens,geese,ducks and goats run around the field near the Restaurant.
History;
The area has the greatest concentration of archaeological sites in Ireland with such treasures as Kilmalkeadar Church,Dun an Oir Fort of Gold,Gallarus Orartory which is shaped like an upturned boat it is the most perfectly preserved example of Irish architecture,Behive Huts and many more only a short distance from Tig Meaig.
Blaskets islands; The wonderful Heritage Centre at Dunquin celebrates the lives of the Blasket Islanders there culture and literary talents and the Irish Language just a stroll away, Boats to the Blasket Island leaves from the pier on the hour in Dunquin .
Dingles First Citizen; You take a boat trip from Dingle Bay to see our much loved Dolfin ‘Fungi

I was born hear and my first language was Irish I Came from a large family of 8 kids. I became a nurse where I traveled to England for work in my younger days but my heart never left home, I returned where myself and my husband Alec reared our family.
Why they chose this property
Alec and I build the house as we wanted to share this piece of Heaven with our guests . Never have i grown tired of the view or even seen a place to equal the place that i call home.
Within a few minutes walk you are on the magical beach of clogher which you see from the cottage or Cuis an Naoa where generations of my family have fished from to rear there big family.
