Enjoy some fun in the sun at this impeccably furnished, 2,035 square foot, 2-bedroom two bath penthouse, beachfront condominium on the most desirable beach on the Sea of Cortez in Los Cabos, Mexico. While some may list 'oceanfront', this condo actually is! You are literally steps from the ocean and the most gorgeous walkable beach which stretches for miles on both sides of the property.

The designer unit has been completely refurbished and upgraded. It has a fully furnished kitchen with dishes, glasses and utensils. Maid service is available once a week for stays longer than 7 days and can be augmented by paying for daily service to the owner. Internet connection and Apple TV are also available.

The upstairs master suite has a king size bed with sliding glass doors that lead out to a panoramic private patio. The upstairs bathroom has both a bathtub and a spa-like shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and a private bathroom with a rain shower. The main living room offers an airy space, perfect for entertaining with incredible views of the Sea of Cortez. Excellent property and stay.

Fantastic condo at amazing location. Views are spectacular, plenty of room to accommodate a family, staff very friendly and helpful, full access to many pools and beach. Located centrally so you can get to either CSJ or CSL rather easily. Very clean and new feel throughout. I would highly recommend.

Incredible stay in Mexico!

Everything about this place is amazing! The views are fantastic, the apartment is stunning, and the space is beautiful and so spacious. The host is fantastic with helping with anything we needed and was incredible with communication. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone looking for an unforgettable and beautiful stay in Cabo!

Beautiful views

Really stunning views, both the condo and throughout the property. Worth noting you have access to all the pools and restaurants at Zoetry which was a little confusing for me when I booked, but a nice perk. Clean, well decorated, and well maintained. Close to all the pools on the property and right next to the beach. Owner was proactive in making sure we had the door code and responsive to my questions. We brought our 2 kids and it was a nice setup with them downstairs and us upstairs. Worth noting the minimum ages because there are high balconies and fragile art piece everywhere. Parking was easy. Easily a 5 star place.

If you are looking for a quiet getaway in a beautiful beach location, this is the place! This third floor penthouse condo has fantastic views of the sea- you can relax on either balcony and watch birds, horseback riders, the waves, the sunset, and even whales. Two of Casa Del Mar's swimming pools are steps away, with plenty of lounge chairs, ocean views, and landscaping like a gardener's paradise. Parking is easy, and there's an elevator or stairs up to the condo. Conveniently located roughly midway between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, it's an easy drive if you want to go east or west to explore what either of those towns have to offer - restaurants, shops, fishing, boat tours etc. There is a new Fresko grocery store close by, which is very convenient if you plan on eating in. This is the first VRBO we've stayed at in which the owner has touched base with us before, during, and after to make sure everything is just right. Kyung gave me tips on good places to walk, which was helpful. Overall, if you're looking for a peaceful place to spend some time, this fits the bill!

Not what we had hoped for

This rental does not look like the pictures. This condo is very cluttered and older. Arrival experience: We arrived to a condo that was over 98 degrees inside as the air conditioning wasn’t on in preparation for our stay. After turning it on it took hours to actually even work. So you can imagine how hot it was especially with the outside temperature being at 95 degrees. This place says it’s a 2 bedroom condo, when we arrived the “second bedroom” turned out to be a drop-down bed that wasn’t even made up and we had to pull it out of the wall. It was a sheet and a mattress. The value for a two bedroom did not meet expectations and we felt the description was misleading. The fridge was not clean and filled with old moldy condiments. The furniture, fans and tables were dusty. The walls were yellowing and aging. The couches were armchairs were spotty and worn. The upstairs bed was hard and uncomfortable. We were very disappointed and so let down that we ended up finding a new place to rent for the duration of our stay. This was a very hard learning experience for us. This was our anniversary trip and this experience caused us a lot of unnecessary stress.

Pictures Can't Describe! - Could have stayed on the property the whole time!

This Villa made the trip! Two floors allow for privacy and one of the best views from a master bedroom I have seen in a while. Decor absolutely puts you in the mood and I could have sat in the hard leather recliner chairs and stared out the porch for days. Pool was spotless, quite and we practicality had the place to ourselves. Gate attendants were very friendly. We rented a car for the week and the parking was perfect and zero issues with traveling. Kitchen was well equipped and made preparing breakfast & meals to go very easy. The grocery in San Jose Del Cabo was very well stocked. Convenient to Playa el Chileno & Santa Maria Bay. Best beach day was at Palmilla. Thanks for the nice beach chairs and two umbrellas! The surf was up so the beach days were challenging for the kids and some nights I swear you could feel the Villa shake a little from the pounding surf. Went to Playa El Medano for a few hours - not worth our time as the vendors were worse than mosquitoes although we knew that going in. Palmilla & Santa Maria are better. Walked to the Sea Grill next door one night for dinner - fantastic but be prepared to spend. Walked to La Deriva one night in the other direction - fantastic. They are still working out the bugs as they await the opening of a new resort. Went to 7 Seas near Palmilla - more reasonable, great quality and a cool, funky surf hotel location. On the affordable side - Las Guacamayas was cheap and as delicious as places 5x the cost. On the other side of San Jose is Claro Fish. Now that is a seafood taco place, cheap beer and the marlin tacos are to die for. Don't hesitate for a moment to stay here with Ms. Kyung Moon. The villa is spectacular, the towels super huge and sound of the waves enchanting! Thank you and we hope to return some day!

Quiet and peaceful

We enjoyed the tranquility of this place. It was cozy and comfortable. The view from the living room and master bedroom upstairs were absolutely beautiful! The only issue we had was the description states this is a two bedroom, but the second bedroom was actually a pull out bed.

Amazingly Beautiful and Big!

We just went down to Cabo for a 5 days and had the most incredible and amazing stay at this San Jose del Cabo condo! It was huge! It had everything you need for a great stay and then some. The wife loved loved the art work and decor. It was so well done. We both commented so wonderfully comfortable the bed was as well. The view and location is the superstar but the beauty and size of the condo made it perfect. I loved the fact that there were beers in the fridge we arrived because we did not get a chance to stop before hand. I replenished some as well, haha. The wife also loved the balcony upstairs off the bed room. Kyung was wonderful and very easy work with before and during the entire trip. We will definitely be back to Cabo and would not stay anywhere else! Thanks again for assisting in the wonderful memories of Julie's 50th birthday! Cheers Matt

Cabo vacation

We highly recommend staying at Casa Del Mar. It is centrally located between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. The beach was absolutely beautiful. Perfect place to enjoy the sunrise. The views from Kyung’s place were great. We were able to whale watch right from the balcony. We had one small issue of a clogged drain. A quick text to the owner and the issue was quickly resolved. We highly recommend a stay here.

Views Views Views!

Yuong was amazing to deal with and answered all our questions quickly prior to arrival. Be sure to bypass the main lobby and go straight to the condo when checking in. The concierge told us we would have to pay a daily resort fee to use the facilities at Casa del Mar since we were in a condo and not the hotel. We ignored him and used them anyways. The bar and pool bar were great, though the loud American pop music was a bit much. The condo has everything you could possibly need. Yuong even left beer and some cheese in the fridge which was certainly welcome after a long day's travel. She also provides all your bottled water. The sheets and towels are super soft. Just be aware that the second bedroom only has a sofa bed which is not especially comfortable. It is located perfectly between the airport and Cabo. This stretch of the beach is especially beautiful, peaceful and safe. Do yourself a favor and splurge for dinner at El Restaurante next door. We are well traveled and agreed that was by far the most beautiful place we'd ever been. The only downside is that 2 doors down and directly in your mountain view they are building a new resort. From sundown to sunrise they turn on 4 enormous security spotlights that shine directly onto the beach and into the condo. It makes the master a bit light for sleeping since there is no door between the lovely tub area and the bedroom. There is a large uncovered view window by the tub. It is unfortunate that it detracts from the night beach ambiance hence 4 instead of 5 stars. Everything in the condo is beyond first class. It is filled with museum quality art and furnishings. The price is a deal compared to others in the area. It is absolutely spotless. Yuong even provides yoga mats! In addition to her list of grocery stores the Palmilla close by has an organic grocery with everything a health conscious person could need. Be sure to print off all of Yuong's instructions or save them electronically since there is no book in the condo. There is only Apple TV so unless you have an account don't expect television. We actually never missed it since there is so much to do. If you are going to Cabo this is the place to stay. Open up the pocket doors and let the views begin!

A beautiful spots steps from the sea

We (including 2 teenage sons) had a wonderful time at this well-appointed condo steps from the beach. The owner was very attentive to everything we needed once we booked our stay and was available quickly even while there with tips for restaurants and other activities. The property itself is a gated community with manicured landscaping everywhere, several pools including a large one steps from the condo that was great for swimming laps. The pounding surf is right outside the door, the beach is beautiful and largely empty in both directions. One note of caution is that swimming is not recommended and you will quickly understand why with size of the waves coming in. If interested in swimming in the sea, then a short drive away takes you to calmer water. The condo has all the amenities including a very nice kitchen, including dishwasher, washing machine and dryer ( which came in handy). Even though we did not spend much time inside….cable and internet are available. This property is closer to San Jose than Cabo so much quieter. We reluctantly left and hope to return again soon.

Wonderful!

We loved our stay in Kyung Yoon's beautifully appointed penthouse. It had all the amenities one would expect or want. The grounds and the view were stunning. Kyung was extremely attentive and responded to our every question.

Lovely two-story condo. Fully equipped and met all our needs. Condo's appearance is striking. Unparalleled views of the ocean and pool area. The grounds are stunning and impeccably manicured. In our opinion the "corridor" is the place to stay. Easy drive to San Juan Cabo and Cabo San Lucas marinas. Many many great restaurant options all along the corridor. Casa Del Mar security made us feel safe and secure. There are friendly staff members monitoring the area at all times. The owner of this condo was super accommodating and helpful. She even made dinner reservations for us on the evening of our arrival. She could not have been more helpful!

Highly Recommend! Beautiful views and condo!

This condo was fabulous! The views are fantastic, you are close to the ocean and a large swimming pool and the condo is absolutely beautiful inside! We have 2 teenage daughters and this condo provided the perfect amount of space for all of us! The upper balcony is perfect for whale watching. The kitchen was well stocked so we were able to cook in some nights. This condo is about a 3 minute walk to the main hotel resort where there is a swim up bar at the main pool, a great restaurant and concierge to help you out with taxis, and activities. The location of Casa Del Mar is perfect, halfway between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo so we could explore both. We didn't have a car but used taxis and the public bus (that will stop right outside the resort) to get around. The condo( and resort) is peaceful, family friendly and perfect for a warm getaway! The owners were wonderful to work with too! Would highly recommend this place and we hope to return to this condo again!

Casa del Mar is a quiet, paradise retreat. The gated community is beautifully landscaped and penthouse condo is within steps from the Sea of Cortez. There is a beautiful boutique hotel, Casa Del Mar hotel within 3 minutes walk where you can dine in a quiet, gorgeous Reataurant with views of the Sea of Cortez, or use the sim up pool/bar, as well as the poolside cafe, gym, spa. There are multiple pools spread around the spacious grounds.

Our penthouse has everything you need for a fabulous getaway to paradise. It is quiet and safe, while being on the best rated beach in all of Cabo, mid-way between San Jose del Cabo, the quaint colonial town and Cabo San Lucas, with more of a party atmosphere. Both towns have beautiful marinas, wonderful restaurants from ultra-high end great local taco places.
