We had a blast, loved the wee cottage with its quirks - had the lovely little dog Bruce from close by visit a couple of times, sitting on the hedge waiting for a pat. Only comment was no hot water in the kitchen but dishwasher was available. Loved the village, great location for exploring the Cotswolds & enjoyed walking the country’s every morning. Would always look to re-book & will recommend to friends
No complaints at all, lovely little cottage in a lovely little village. Hosts helpful when needed, would definitely come back! If anything the pictures on the listing don’t do the cottage justice!
A delightful property! I stayed for two months from June-August with my golden retriever. The cottage was everything as advertised, and was perfect for my needs. I can absolutely recommend this property for singles or couples, with or without a dog. The village has two delightful pubs/restaurants and the village store can accommodate immediate needs. It was everything I hoped for in a Cotswold Summer.
A beautiful quaint cottage. Well appointed to get to surrounding villages and attractions. Very well equipped, clean and warm. Thoughtful host, which had provided lots of additional information to help us enjoy our stay. Great local pubs within walking distance, only one local shop, which has long hours and all the basic provisions . Excellent nearby local farm shop if required. I would definitely recommend this property.
We loved it. Took a bit to get used to the idiosyncrasies and quirks (keys to open doors, no headroom in shower), but we'll chalk that up to the charm. Property manager could communicate a bit better, but we would recommend this vrbo in a heartbeat. Thanks!
Gorgeous historic cottage in the heart of the Cotswolds. Over 300 year old building so you do need to be careful with the low ceilings and beams etc. plus the narrow stairs. Comfy bed, lovely kitchen and our host Katrina had put posies of fresh flowers around the cottage which was a nice touch. There were also biscuits, tea and coffee for us. If you like character then I highly recommend this cottage. Free parking was easy just outside on the street.
The cottage was just beautiful, very much as advertised and completely charming. The bed on the second floor is smallish, but my husband and I were comfortable nonetheless Kitchen is beautiful and the upstairs bedroom is beyond gorgeous. The thing you need to know, however, is that if you can’t turn the shower on, there’s a red switch at the base of the floor as you walk into the bedroom on the right hand side. That switch has to be on in order for the shower to work and hot water to flow. It took a bit of back-and-forth with the owner to try and figure out the problem. A helpful Neighbourhood popped by and showed us the switch. Photographs are posted here.
The washer and dryer was very helpful

Horrible stay! Avoid if you can
No hot water and significant delay in responding to messages.
We had no hot water for 2 out of 3 nights. This is unacceptable during the winter months, and especially when I had two children with me. In addition, I wasted a lot of my time dealing with this issue, including speaking to Katrina (manager of the property), Vrbo customer support team, the neighbour and plumber on multiple occasions. The plumber made 3 visits to the property and spend hours working on the issue. This disrupted our holiday stay in the cottage.
If you want to get away from it all then Kingham is the place to stay, the village is stunning! The cottage is beautiful, full of character with a few much needed modern accessories(wonderful coffee maker)My friend and i had a wonderful stay and hopefully will return one day!
