Welcome to Sugar Beach in beautiful Orange Beach, AL! Our charming 2-story condo offers the perfect blend of comfort and convenience for your beach getaway. With 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, this spacious unit comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests, making it ideal for families or groups.

The main floor features an open concept with a fully stocked kitchen, a cozy living room with a pull-out sofa bed, a dining area, and breakfast bar — perfect for enjoying meals together. The master bedroom (king bed) on this level includes its own private bathroom and balcony access. A convenient half bath and washer and dryer are also located on this floor.

Upstairs, you’ll find 2 additional bedrooms (one with 2 twin beds, one with a queen bed) that share a Jack and Jill bathroom, providing plenty of space for everyone to relax.
Step out onto the balcony to enjoy the breeze and side view of the Gulf, or head down to the white sandy shores just steps away.

Sugar Beach offers fantastic family-friendly amenities including 4 pools (one heated and one gated kids pool), tennis courts, grills, and a snack shack. Plus, there’s a closet full of beach necessities and chairs/umbrellas available for rent on the beach.

With its prime location, you'll be close to all that Gulf Shores and Orange Beach have to offer, including the nearby Gulf State Park. Whether you're here to relax by the pool, soak up the sun on the beach, or explore local attractions, Sugar Beach is the perfect family-friendly retreat.

Family Vacation

Overall it was perfect! It accommodated all 9 of us. It was a quick walk down to the beach! The condo was clean, and had all the linen we needed. The AC had a hard time keeping up with the heat but overall was great experience. Cannot wait to go back!

Family Vacay

Overall the condo was decent. It was a pretty close walk to the beach. We enjoyed hanging out on the beach and it was convenient to most places we wanted to go. Inside the condominium we had plenty of room to spread out and 7 of us had comfy places to sleep. Be sure to bring trash bags and toilet paper if you are staying more than a couple of days. The carpet was gross, some of the furniture is dingy, and overall the air inside the condo seemed damp. We also couldn’t figure out how to work the TVs.

Only one of the three elevators was working. Frustration getting to and from our room was frustrating and time consuming! The stairway light in our room was nonworking. The rooms themselves were great! The air worked marginally, and it was hard to sleep. We will rent from here again, though. If everything is working!

The place was perfect for beach and pool access. Our house was very nice. There were some cosmetic flaws that could use some touch ups to make it more appealing and the patio furniture needs replaced on the deck. Overall it was on point.

Excellent location/ great beach . Property pools and parking well maintained . Condo was spacious for 6 women and all amenities as promised. Lartigue Seafood across the street is the BEST shrimp and seafood I have ever had. Carry out and cooked to order.

The owner of this condo was very responsive and helpful. The condo was very clean and close to all the fun things to do and places to eat. The beach is just steps away. The air conditioning for this condo is also excellent. If we come back this way again we will gladly rent it again. Thanks for a trouble free stay.

Perfection !!!

Sugar Beach has always been a favorite of mine. It is perfect for us and the area is exactly what fits me and my family/friends. This year was our first year to stay in unit 331 and I could not have asked for a better unit. Everything that was promised was delivered. The ease of our stay and over all convenience was top notch. I go to the beach, to the area, every summer, sometimes multiple times a summer, and this was by far the best.

The property is older and smaller than your typical condo in Orange Beach; however, it is extremely clean and well-maintained. The unit was updated and cleaning crew is ALWAYS on the job! The outdoor spaces were super clean and we loved the Sugar Shack! Staff was friendly and our check-in process was easy. BTW the parking permit is $20, not $15. :) Great trip!

They aren’t kidding when they said the place hasn’t been updated. College dorms, that’s exactly the vibe you get walking down the halls at Sugar Beach, noise and all. The day of our arrival it had been raining, understandable there would be some water puddles around right, not at Sugar Beach water up past your ankles while you wait for the only working elevator as you unload your belongings to try and enjoy your stay. The addition cost for parking is absurd. The “guards” they have manning the parking area are as beneficial as Walmart greeters. We booked a 5 day stay, NO TV the entire stay. Although ALVBR did try and make an attempt and sent a cable repair rep., the issue was a known line issue within the building that was not going to be addressed until well after our check out date a waste of 2 hours of our day.Did message Dylan with the issues, was responsive and did follow up on communication with Sugar Beach. Condo it’s self accommodated our sleeping needs, otherwise need to be able to enjoy other things outside the condo, pray for good weather!

Few problems

We stayed at sugar beach 331. They had problems with plumbing leaking from bathroom through the ceiling dripping on refrigerator. They had several holes cut in the walls. One hole was directly over the stove and dripped on the stove while cooking. The dryer was very slow and had to be turned on 4 times to dry a load. Nice acces to the beach .

Great Stay

Only problem was there's a whole in the ceiling of the kitchen and in one of the bedroom’s walls. I called the property management. There had been a link. I told them I didn’t mind if they sent someone to fix the holes. I was told someone would be out the next day to fix it. No one ever came. Other than that, great place to stay. Condo is nice, comfortable, like being at home…. Better cause the beach is outside. Lol

Great Family Getaway!

Our family of six stayed at this beachfront condo for five days and had a great time! The first day was a wash out w stormy weather however we had beautiful weather for the remainder of our stay. Every day we went down to the beach in the morning, popped back up to shower for some lunch out, and then went back to the beach, then pool. We did this every day and it was perfect being so close to both the beach and the pool (there are four to chose from so we never felt crowded at the pool). The condo is right on the main business strip so we found it easy to find great places for food and dessert when we ventured out. The condo has all the amenities you’d need. It isn’t fancy and is a bit out dated however it has everything you need for a family vacation experience. I enjoyed sitting out on the balcony feeling he ocean breezes too. The elevator was super convenient and there are rolling carts for guests to borrow to tow groceries/bags up if needed, too. Overall we had a wonderful stay at this condo!

Nice place and close to the beach

It could be cleaner. It's a cute place, but none of our tvs worked. Maintenance came by but said they would send the cable company, but no one ever came. The light in the stairwell didn't work. Maintenance came by 3 times. One time he came by with no notification and tapped on the door and just came on in before anyone could get to it to open it. The parking passes were supposed to be 30 but they were 70. That wouldn't be so bad, but at night, there weren't enough parking spaces. We circled several times and finally had to park in no parking zones on about 3 different occasions. Our dryer made shrill noises. We had to use it when we were leaving because of the noise. The upstairs shower has a slow drain and low pressure. I got stuck outside on the veranda because the sliding door kept getting stuck. Maintenance sprayed the track. It was the only thing he managed to fix. Aside from all that, it was a nice place to stay.

Thanks for checking out our unit! Our names are Jamie and Dylan and we purchased our Sugar Beach condo in 2016. We currently live outside Atlanta and were looking for a place to comfortably and conveniently vacation with our family of 5. We love to travel and wanted to make sure that the beach was part of our children's lives, which is how we arrived at Sugar Beach! We have been married for 17 years and have 3 children (ages 16, 13 and 9). We hope your family will enjoy our condo as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Sugar Beach, and specifically our unit, as soon as we saw it! The amenities, particularity the beach front pools, snack shop and proximity to the beach, made Sugar Beach very desirable. We chose unit 331 because of the beautiful decor, recent renovation and, most importantly, the size and layout. The unit is large enough for our family of 5 plus guests. It was very important to us to find a condo that our parents or siblings and their families could join us at and we could all stay comfortably for a week (because no one like to go on vacation and be on top of each other or to be in a very tight space with a bunch of kids)! Sugar Beach is not a luxury building like some of the others further down the beach, but it is a classic beach property that provides fun, comfortable family amenities. We love to share the space with our family and friends and hope you will too!

What makes this property unique

The family friendliness of the complex makes it very special. Traveling with kids isn't always easy and Sugar Beach is really set up to make it as effortless and enjoyable as possible. The pools are gated separately, there are shady pavilions for a break from the sun, there is no busy road to cross to get to the beach, the snack shack has something for everyone, and we have a closet full of beach and pool toys! Also, because our building is a low rise, the beach is never jam packed. The time we spend here is special to our family and we would love to share it with yours!
