Unless arranged in advance, CHECK IN TIME is 2pm and CHECK OUT TIME is 10am. Requests for varying times will be accommodated where possible.

Where the client chooses to cut short their stay a refund is not available for any unused portion of the booking.

Great Getaway

From the first contact from Dale, through to every attention to detail of the property, we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Southerly. The location could not have been better. Such an easy walk to the main street, or down to The Colourpatch Café. Unfortunately, we only had the weekend to take in the stunning cottage, but could have easily stayed for weeks. Everything you needed was right there. The kitchen was a delight and well stocked with the necessities. The beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of room for Masters 10, 13 and 15. Thank you Dale and Kerry for providing a great home away from home.

Never again!!

Not a family friendly beach house, when we arrived noted the spa had a sign out of order. Emailed the owner and responded, take a walk along the river. Very limited Kitchen utensils, we had to purchase additional items at the local thrift shop. Booked for three weeks and will never go back again!! Would definitely not recommend for a long stay.

The majority of our guests have only praised Southerly, as can be seen from the reviews below. We do accept that you cannot always meet the expectations of everyone. Southerly is set up to accomodate up to a maximum of six guests at any one time including families. The spa is not listed as a amenity on the booking site however was featured as a photo regretably. The guest was contacted and an apology made in relation to the spa issue. In a seperate matter the guest was advised on access to the boardwalk that provides access to town and the colourpatch cafe. The kitchen is set up to accomodate six guests at any one time. Additional items to entertain visitors for meals are not considered the responsibility of the host. We are happy to accomodate any guest for short or long stay holidays and are encouraged by many of our past reviews.

Beautiful Home

Our stay was too short in this beautiful home. With stunning pieces of furniture, big comfy beds and a very generous bathroom it was the perfect place for a grown up get away. We stayed for two nights. Well equiped kitchen, lots of little areas to sit outside and have a cup of tea and watch the world go by. The owner, Dale, was available to answer any questions by text and made sure that we were comfortable. You can walk to the town and the IGA and Bakery. Will definitely stay here again.

Great spot - gorgeous house!

This is a beautifully presented house in a quiet area just a few minutes walk to the river & ocean. Clean & very well equipped, a great spot to base yourself to explore the diverse & wonderful local area. We cooked in the lovely kitchen & relaxed by the wood heater - and a bath with a glass of Margaret River wine at the end of a day spent in the Margaret River region made this a perfect retreat! Highly recommend a visit to Southerly!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Southernly! It's cosy yet very spacious and it just invites you to relax. Great space for the children to run around plus an assortment of games, books and DVDs. The final touch: a delicious home made jar of jam for breakfast. Lovely!

Totally Relaxing!

Our family has just returned after 5 nights at this charming home. We were impressed by how comfortable & new everything was. We felt totally at ease here, so close to everything, the river, town, bike paths.... The kids loved playing backyard cricket & having a big bath in one of the two enormous baths. Everything you needed was there & we felt spoilt for staying there. The luxury of a hotel with a homely feel & lots of space. Couldn't recommend it more.

Superb Southerly

We have just returned from a relaxing long weekend stay at 'Southerly' in Augusta.This self contained accommodation was relaxed, stylish, spacious, well appointed and immaculately clean. The location was perfect with only a short stroll to the rivers edge for a leisurely walk along the foreshore. We happened to be there for the Augusta River Festival which ended with a finale of fireworks we could view from the front verandah. Karla & Greg have thought of everything in this property and even provided us with breakfast supplies. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Stunning Accommodation

We have been looking for accommodation like this in Augusta for so long and now we have found it.We have been visiting this beautiful town for over 10 years and now we have found Southerly we will be returning for another 10 years.
