Jaco Beach Village Condo #11 is one of the few TRUE beachfront condo locations in Jaco Beach, Costa Rica. This is a luxury unit on the second floor. It offers 3 bedrooms with A/C, 2.5 bathrooms, TV cable & WiFi, fully equipped kitchen, living room with A/C, small safe, dining table, balcony, laundry room, 24/7 security, very quiet and peaceful.

Just steps away to enjoy watching the surfers on the park benches located right in front of Jaco Beach Village. It also offers a pool and a gazebo with WiFi and electric outlets where you can sit down and check your emails while checking the tides. JBV it's owned by foreigners who visit only a few times a year. The beach is rarely crowded except for holidays.

The Best in Jaco

Private, Quiet, Safe condo complex with only 15 units. Friendly gate guard monitors all access. Great beach location with restaurants, shops, and grocery store nearby. Pool is beautiful and cleaned every morning. Most days, we were the only family at the pool. Host is readily available for any questions.

Great place but has rules not list on ads

This is a very great place to stay , but make sure whom ever is stay there is on the list before checking in. Its says up to 6 people to stay so i put 2 of my friends and i on the list. One of my buddies missed there flyt so came in late so he had his lady friends drive him from San Jose to Jaco, so i message the names of the ladies on Vrbo a day before. When they got there the ladies could not stay because they was not on the list before i checked in. Idk great place to stay but the rules stink.

Ideal Beach Location

We absolutely loved our stay here! We could see the ocean from the main living space and from the comfortable balcony. The sunsets were stunning. Many evenings I looked out the window, saw the sunset, and ran outside to catch the full view from the sandy beach. Also, the beach had a very gradual slope so it was very family friendly. We had tons of wet sand and gentle waves every morning. The afternoons were better for surfing. The showers just inside the gated grounds were super convenient for cleaning up after our beach fun. The home itself was beautifully decorated, and spacious. The beach theme was fun and we were inspired by the family surf photos framed on the walls. We had two family members take lessons and surf for the first time right there at the beach just steps from our beach house. The furniture was very comfortable, there were 3 televisions, 3 bathrooms, and 3 bedrooms. We had lots of room to spread out, but also some great gathering spaces. We were traveling with an 18 month old so I appreciated the washer, dryer, and dishwasher. The air conditioning worked perfectly. I also felt incredibly spoiled and safe having a security guard on the gated grounds 24/7. At night I could take my grand daughter out for a little stroll on the grounds and feel very safe. We were also happy with the nearby restaurants. We were trying to eat local and were pleased to find a traditional Costa Rican soda just one block away. There were many other restaurants also within walking distance. We had a wonderful stay at this beach house and would recommend it to anyone.

Generally good spot

Good location relative to the town of Jaco and is right on the beach toward the South end of Jaco. Walking to the center of town takes probably 5-10 minutes, depending on destination. There is a 24/7 guard in this gated complex. Felt very safe. I always try to give honest and accurate reviews, in consideration of owners and future clients, so here goes. The condo was quite nice inside and well equipped. Lighting is generally a bit dim (for my tastes) throughout, but more significantly, we didn’t have any overhead lighting in the living room, just a one bulb lamp on the side table for the entire room. The property manager did respond timely, but it still took two days of our 4 days to get an additional lamp repaired, but no overhead lighting the entire 4 day stay (due to not being able to get the right bulb in Jaco). May not seem a big deal, but the sun sets in Costa Rica around 5-530 pm, so there’s significant dark time in the evening. Additionally, the water heater was on the outs, and had to be reset virtually every time we wanted to shower and we had to shower one at a time, so as not to cause it to shut off during a shower. Wasn’t an incredible inconvenience, but we weren’t warned ahead of time about it, despite it being known. And I’m surprised that checking lights, etc in between renters isn’t something done as a standard practice. All that being said, I would still recommend the place, as it is described accurately and both the owner Ginger and the property manager Tatiana were very friendly and easy to work with. You might just make sure the water heater is repaired before you go. Otherwise would have given 5 stars.

Our three bedroom villa exceeded our expectations. Clean and maintained . The three bedrooms are spacious and the balcony a perfect spot to laze . The sunshade on the balcony is a bonus . Tatty, the villa concierge goes above and beyond to assist. The pool area lovely and the sound of the waves made for a perfect day every day . Walking distance to groceries and many restaurants. The Friday market is 10 minutes walk away as well . Can’t say enough ! Thanks for allowing us the privilege to stay at your villa.

My wife and I along with another couple stayed at Jaco Beach Village on July 18th through July 28th. We enjoyed our time and would recommend without reservation. Nice place, great accommodations and very secured. It was an easy drive from San Jose into JACO and would suggest better directions. It took us a while to find the location. I would encourage other travelers to take Route 27 into 34 and take a right before the "Sign Surfing Factory " - Location would be on your left. DWM

Great girls getaway for Memorial Weekend!

Our group of four women (mid-30's to early 40's) had a wonderful time on our recent stay. Even before we arrived, the house manager Tatty reached out via email to introduce herself and was extremely helpful, providing information about tours and assisting with our ground transportation from the airport. The condo itself was very nice, comfortable and while we never felt unsafe in the area, the 24 hr security was a nice bonus. We usually cook when we rent homes and when I noticed the kitchen was missing a few things (oven mitts and dish towels), Tatty went right out and purchased them. She checked on us via text daily and was always responsive when I had questions about restaurant recommendations or wanted to arrange transportation. We enjoyed the pool area and catching great sunsets and walks on the beach in front of the property. We would return in a heartbeat!

We are Chris and Ginger Weber and are from Fort Myers Beach in Southwest Florida. We have been in the beach concession business for 30 plus years renting waverunners, beach chairs and umbrellas, doing parasailing and other fun beach activities. Our three children love the outdoor lifestyle as well. The boys are 25 and 27 years old and our daughter, otherwise known as "The Princess" is 17. Visiting Costa Rica is our favorite time of the year. We love the outdoors, the surf camps, the water and, most of all, the Pura Vida attitudes. The natural beauty of the country is calming, peaceful and good for the soul.

Why they chose this property

After taking countless surf trips to Costa Rica, Jaco Beach quickly became a favorite for us. The surf is excellent year round and is perfect for beginners to intermediate surfers. The town is loaded with great restaurants, spas, casinos, shopping and some nightlife. We are also 5 Kilometers from Playa Hermosa which is known as the National Stadium of Surf because of it's heavy wave.

What makes this property unique

We love how quickly you can get to our place from the San Jose Airport and how at home we feel as soon as we step inside the gates of our complex. I remember the first time I entered the condo and realized I could see the beach out one window and the mountains out of the other. Breathtaking.
