Excellent getaway for the holidays with my family!
I have rented this cozy cabin several times. Jeremy, is an amazing host! He makes sure the cabin is homely. The decor brings you to a happy place. Anytime I go to Bryson City and a smaller cabin fits my party… I call Jeremy! I definitely recommend this cozy cabin!
There is no internet and/or cell phone connection at the property! It is 8 miles from the main road, 148 curves (yes, we counted), and takes 23-24 minutes to get to/from the main road. If you're susceptible to being car sick, take precautions. Television is limited - batteries in the TV remote died, and no replacements were left to replace them (made for a very long, boring Saturday in the cabin). Neighborhood dogs barked at night. Pictures are accurate.
My wife and I were blown away at how peaceful and quiet the area was and how pretty the surroundings were. If you want a peaceful trip off the grid this cabin is a wonderful place to go.

Ok stay
My favorites about this place was the location, hot tub and screened in porch. The only complaint I have is the neighbors barking dogs they kept waking us up in the middle of the night so we got very little sleep. The beds were also not that comfortable. But overall a decent place for the price.
Very quite. Off the grid. Clean. Great for a short weekend getaway. Be prepared for turns and twisty roads back to the property. We enjoyed our stay.

This house was so quiet and clean! We enjoyed coffee on the screened in porch watching the birds! This place is very relaxing and not a far drive from the shops at Bryson City! The house was fully stocked with everything we needed such as towels, coffee, all kitchen utensils, linens and much more!
We truly enjoyed our stay!!! Very clean cabin. Hot tub and screen in porch was so nice. Cabin is located in a very quiet neighborhood. Phone signal was not the best but we did find a great spot (middle of the patio sectional on the screen in porch). We will return to this cabin for sure.

Besides no cell service or WiFi it’s wonderful ! It’s beautiful out there and it’s so adorable !!! I loved it we had a relaxing time until hurricane Helene ruined everything 😂
Beautiful property, clean and comfortable, had everything we needed Except the towels and bed linens smelled VERY BAD. So did the washing machine. Strong enough that the entire home smelled musty.
Me and some friends went for a weekend fishing trip and I found this little cabin to be perfect!! Super quiet in the middle of the mountains. Beds were super comfy. House was clean. Hot tub was perfect after a long day of fishing in cold rivers. Had everything we needed!! We even left something and the owner answered very quickly to help get them back. 10/10 recommend!!
There was no WiFi, and we didn’t have cell service. That was fine with my wife and me, but our children weren’t crazy about that. Otherwise, we all were very pleased.

I booked this cozy gem for our guys trip to the tail of the dragon. The location was perfect for all the riding we did the week we were there. The kitchen had more than enough supplies for us to cook all our meals with, and a grill outside. Also provided was all the linens. There was a washer and dryer too. We enjoyed the hot tub every night after all the riding we did. It was so relaxing! The cell service is bad up there but in all honesty that was another enjoyable thing about this gem! The owner, Jeremy, was quick to respond back to me when I had questions or concerns. My family and I will definitely use this cabin again every time we go back to the smokies! Thank you Jeremy for an excellent experience.
This cabin was basically the best! The location was very populated but thankfully still very quiet. The hot tub was blissful, beds were cozy, and the fireplace was toasty! They even had a heater outside which i was grateful for! The only two things, we had our kids with us and they obviously go to bed before us. We had to sit until they fell asleep because the floors creak loudly. Did not bother us, just something to keep in mind for light sleepers. The only bad thing, the hot water for the shower is only warm (cold coming out of the hot tub!)

We were unable to use the hot tub, The hot tub was very cloudy. You cannot see the bottom. Clearly, the chemicals were unbalanced.
The toilet seat was broken. Every time we use the bathroom the seat wiggled.

Cabin with hot tub
We rented this cabin strictly for the hot tub and it was ok the first couple of days. We noticed it was cloudy but it didn’t have an odor so I assumed it to be clean. Then the 3rd day it had a swamp odor and was getting more cloudy so we were unable to use it the rest of the days which was extremely upsetting as this was literally the only reason we chose this cabin. I do have a pool every year and use to own a hot tub and I noticed the filter was very dirty and I didn’t notice any chlorine which might have been the cause but would have been nice to have it properly cleaned before since we were staying 5 days…

Thank you for your feedback and hope to host you in the future.
The property was clean and well decorated.
The furniture is very comfortable.
The KING bed is comfortable.
The kitchen has everything you need to cook.
TV and board games
Hot tub was great!
No WIFI and hard to get cell signal.
I suggest stopping at the grocery store for sandwich fixing & breakfast items to have on hand before you journey up the mountain -- 8 miles takes 20-30 minutes to travel -- it is worse at night. The locals move along at 40 mph we were doing about 15-20mph --there are places to pull off so they can go around you.
I would suggest that the fridge should have a couple of bottles of water, orange juice, 6 eggs, sausage patties and a can of biscuits --- for people like us who got in late and didn't stop at the grocery.
Overall it was a nice property and the scenic drive was interesting. Some really beautiful properties and some apocalypse properties.
Check out was easy.
This place was awful. The cabin was falling apart and stunk. The door handle broke off while we were there. The window would not lock and the location was terrible. The neighbor across the street stared at us in his car for two hour. There was no phone signal. One of the beds had a piece of old sausage in it. There were cigarettes in the trash can. The entire place felt unsafe. The pictures of the fire pit are not actual, it’s on a terrible hill that isn’t practical. The house is more of a neighborhood, less like a vacation feel. There was years old expired medicine in the cabinet. We had to pack up and leave and find another place to stay. We spoke to the owners and rental agents and they would not refund us a dime. DO NOT BOOK

Hello Hadley, thanks for letting us know about your stay! The owner wanted to address the items you mentioned:
- We work with professional cleaners that clean, sanitize and deodorize the home between each reservation. Our cleaners have confirmed that there were no smells in the home or leftover food in the bed before you checked in.
- We keep up with regular maintenance on the home to ensure everything is in working order before our guests check into the property. Thank you for making us aware that the door handle was damaged while you were there. We will reach out to our local maintenance team to have this fixed and check the window locks as well.
- We apologize if our neighbor made you feel uncomfortable in any way. He does sit in his car often but not for hours at a time. He is sensitive to high noise levels but we will speak to him about this to make sure this doesn't happen with future guests.
- The cigarettes were in an outside trash can that our cleaners have been made aware to check between each reservation. We wish you had reached out to us while you were there so we could have resolved these issues immediately.
- The pictures of the firepit and the entire home accurately display the home and this can be seen before booking the property.
- With many guests coming and going from the property, it is common to have some expired medication in the cabinets. These are not prescription medications, they are over-the-counter medications such as Tylenol. We will look into removing or replacing them.
Thank you for your feedback as we are confident future guests will have excellent stays!
