Amazing home with plenty of space for extended family to gather over the holidays. The property is spectacular and offers plenty to do and incredible views of the ocean and treetops. We also loved walking down to Macmasters Beach and having breakfast at the cafe. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing house with everything we needed for a big family birthday celebration for our three generation family aging from 5 to 70. We wanted to be able to swim, play tennis and walk in the national park and walk to the beach. It was all perfect and exactly as advertised.

A Christmas to Remember

We celebrated Christmas here and had such a wonderful time. The house was amazing. It was a rare case of the house being even better than in the photos! Views were outstanding, lots of space and very well equipped. Can't wait to go back.

Very nice propertyJust needs a few basic amenities like a dishwashing brush foil baking paper supply of coffee beans as a machine is supplied..Change the lounge rug as it sloughs continuously and the wool is everywhere!!Aircon set to 20 degrees as too hot otherwiseMore bath mats and a non slip mat in baths as very slippery..Fridge door doesn’t close properly and hand wash in kitchen would be good.Just some basic amenities would be goodAnyway, we had a wonderful time !!!Thank you!!

Summer long weekend

Amazing property. Everything you need for a fantastic long weekend with family and friends. Great walks out the side gate and to the beach. Tennis and swims in the backyard. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous home away from home

We loved our stay here. The property has everything you need to enjoy the area or just chill at home. The children can entertain themselves with the grounds, pool and tennis courts. Beautiful bush walks and beaches super close. Great layout for sharing with other familes. Hope to be back! Super hosts!

Great family stay at Mourawaring House

As we are a busy family of 8 adults and 5 children under 4, Mourawaring House was the perfect place for our family holiday. The large pool, impressive tennis court and other great facilities made this a very easy place to spend the whole day at. And to top it off we were only a short 10 min walk through stunning bushland to MacMasters Beach if we wanted to have an ocean swim. The kitchen was very well equiped which made meal prep easy and having a washing machine, dryer and outside line certainly made a busy family holiday enjoyable.Mac's Cafe at the beach, Zac's Pizza Hut and Kincuber shopping centre are all within a 10 minute drive. Loved our stay.

beautiful house

The house was amazing with so much room for everyone.Decor was really lovely.The pool area and pool were fantastic not to mention the pool cabana.The kitchen was very well fitted out and had most things you could think of.Lots of activities including table tennis,billiards and kids toys.The area is beautiful however very windy.We had very bad weather for a few days and it was incredibly windy and we had power outages in the area for quite a few hours.Not much in the area if the weather is bad unless you have older kids,however an amazing shopping centre near bye in Erina.Fantasitic holiday for a family group or a few families travelling together.

A lovely family getaway, but don’t expect extras

We booked The Glasshouse for a family weekend getaway. The property is lovely and we had a fabulous time making the most of the pool, tennis court and ample yard - particularly the kids. For the cost (for our weekend it was double the average daily rate advertised) I would have hoped some items that other hosts supply as standard would have been included - basic things like body wash, coat hangers, pepper in the pepper grinder... and not having to make the kids top bunks ourselves after we’d already paid extra for linens for our group. It’s a lovely home but definitely doesn’t represent value or service one may hope for a property of this type and price. We also had some unfortunate issues with some of the mechanics of the home which I will email the host about in the hopes other guests won’t have sleep etc impacted as we did.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

We recently rented this house and unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with the condition of the property upon our arrival. The house was dirty and unkempt with cob webs throughout the entire property and chocolate wrappers (opened chocolate from previous renters) left in various areas. The bed sheets were sandy and there was a foul odor coming from the linens. The utensils were dirty with food stuck to pans and forks. The floor was covered in dust and crumbs. We had to vacuum, mop and wash all bed sheets when we arrived. It appeared that the house had not been cleaned properly or thoroughly before our arrival. This made our stay less enjoyable as we expected a clean and well-maintained property. For the price we paid you’d expect a very well maintained house. Not to mention the host was extremely unhelpful saying I should have told her all of this on day one and she would have given us the house next door. Laughable right. Also tried to tell me we left a mess, which we didn’t, left a couple of bin bags next to the bin which was full, also paid a decent amount for a cleaning fee. So you’d expect the cleaners would do a very well job for that kind of money. When we were asked for some sort of compensation the host was extremely rude and lied to us and said we need to contact someone else to complain to. Was not willing to compensate us for the most horrible holiday house we’ve have ever stayed at. It was honestly disgusting! Also such a unprofessional host. I would not recommend this house to anyone and I hope that future renters do not have a similar experience.

Stunning property

This property is beautiful with great views to the ocean. Great areas for play and relaxation for all ages. The younger kids loved the cubby house with swing & slide while the older kids & adults relaxed around the pool, tennis courts and lazed around the well-kept house.

We had a great week away at The Glasshouse. It was the perfect getaway for our family we made use of the tennis court and pool and enjoyed the national park costal walks. The kids loved their room and the playground - good set up for families with young kids.
