The building itself was nice, there were unsecured stone steps to get into the house though. We were also told we had to leave the property an hour before check out and when questioned about it the hosts never responded.

Cammy’s cottage was a perfect stay for a weekend trip to the zoo! There was a mishap with the cleaners but Jon and Hope were right on it and got the place cleaned as soon as possible. The beds were very comfortable and each room was designed perfectly. I loved that cammys rooms still had toys in it - it kept the boys occupied! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

A quant little historic home at the edge of downtown. This small home offers three bedrooms, albeit small spaces. The beds are comfy and the house has a great surface clean appearance. Had everything we needed for our stay. Needs a deep clean and some maintenance and repainting. The color is uneven in several areas of home and took some adjustment. The shower in master bath is tiny- hard to maneuver while showering. The a/c cools- but takes a long time to get to desired temp. Stays low once there however. Two scooters for the kids was a nice surprise, but the driveway is gravel- so they had to ride on the main road. Overall we enjoyed the stay at this house.

Beds were comfy and water pressure was great. Nice, quiet neighborhood in a good location. This is an older property that could be improved. For instance, we liked sitting on the back patio having coffee in the morning. The chairs cushions were old with some holes in them. Also, the patio was quite dirty. The Keurig didn’t work very well as it made weak coffee. However, luckily there was a coffee pot so we used that instead. The inside seemed to be quite clean, but the outside needs quite a bit of work as far as cleanliness goes. I feel these are easy things to remedy and not very costly. One thing that was kind of confusing is, Hope sent me a message saying check out was 10 AM sharp but inside on the refrigerator it said check out was at 11 AM. It was fine because we left at 7am. Just confusing. We did run out of dishes for four of us so it would be nice to have more. Overall it’s an ok place to stay and better than a hotel.

The listing was accurate; it was very clean; in a quiet residential area within a short driving distance to restaurants and shopping. The location was perfect for the things we wanted to do in the area. When I booked the property, I did not notice that there was no washer or dryer in the home, yes, that was my error; but the host was well aware of the number of towels provided, dates of stay, and number of people staying; however, when we arrived, there were 7 bath towels for 3 people for a 7 day stay. I found it difficult to reuse bath towels, as I do not do that at home. If there had been a washer and dryer, I would have done laundry, and it would have been fine but going to a laundromat while on vacation to wash towels is not what I want or expect to do. We checked in on Sat; on Tues morning, I messaged the host to ask about exchanging dirty towels for clean ones. The host did not respond. We left a day early because we had done everything in the area we wanted to do; leaving early had nothing to do with the host or the property. When we left on Fri, I messaged the host that we had left the property. There was no response until I received an automated text about the checkout process for Sat morning. One other thing that made me uncomfortable was no curtains in the kitchen or on the dining room picture window. As a personal preference, I like to close blinds or curtains after dark for privacy.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Cammy's Cottage. Hope was an amazing host. Everything was just as pictured. The beds were very comfortable, and there was space to accommodate my husband and our three teenage children. We would definitely stay here again, since it is so close to my sister's apartment. It was also only a short drive to the "main drag." You will not regret your stay!
