About this property

Family beach house pet friendly

Two-storey house perfect for a large family or two families travelling together. Upstairs retreat with a queen-sized bed, TV, couches, and en-suite. There is another TV and games downstairs. There are 3 bedrooms downstairs, one with a queen size bed, one with a bunk-double bed on the bottom and single above and finally a very small room with a set of single bunks only suitable for children.

The downstairs lounge area has a wood fire. There is a fully equipped kitchen that has a pod coffee machine.

The yard is fully enclosed to keep both children and pets safe. An easy 5 minute walk to a child friendly beach or leave the car and stroll to town and enjoy one of San Remo's fantastic cafes.

A short drive to Phillip Island and all its attractions or do the fantastic George Bass Coastal Walk to Kilcunda and have a delicious meal at the General Store. Daily pelican feeding in San Remo is a must see for the kids.

All linen and towels are provided.

Return annual long weekend. Such a lovely spot, with great views and close to beach and shops. Lots of interesting garden front and back with secured fencing for pets and enjoying watching different birds busying themselves for nesting. Great set up indoors with ple ty of room for everyone. San Remo locals must be the friendliest people on Earth!

A relaxing long weekend in a great location

We were delighted to stay in a large house, well equipped for everyone, with delightful views and expansive, private outdoor area. A pleasant walk to the beach and at low tide, a beach walk to the village centre. We loved it so much, we have booked again.

Good for familes

Property has been set up fof familes and suited our needs. A few.minor scapres and repairs necessary but thud was expexted at this price pojnt. Overall a wonderful place.to stay for a trip. Kids really enjoyed the pool table and the sunsets were wonderful

Excellent, the hosts Paul and Belinda were great, very accommodating, the house was perfect for us and our dogs. We had a great time, easy walk to the shops and beach. We will be telling all our friends what a great place it is to stay.

Older style house from outside but very comfy inside with lovely wood fire. Great hosts and to supply wood for fire and linen for beds and showers much appreciated,. Walking distance to park and dog beach and main shops was a bonus, Very comfy stay thank you guys

Great views, lots of games etc for the kids, comfy beds, everything we needed for our short stay. The upstairs bedroom views were so lovely! Close to the beach and town. Was amazing for our dog as well-she loved it!

San Remo Pet friendly beach house

We lived this authentic beach house. Plenty of space, inside and out. Cosy wood burning fire. Well equipped kitchen, and plentiful stocks of basics. Great views and easy walk to the beach and shops. We loved it!

Sleeping with the stars!

The house is absolutely amazing. Lots of space to accommodate bigger groups and very dog-friendly. The fireplace adds to the ambience and is very handy for warming up after long foreshore walks. The views from the bedroom upstairs are magnificent and at night, you can see all the constellations. Location is perfect for proximity to the dog beach. Overall very happy with this booking. Will be looking to come back! AniaS

Great pet friendly holiday house in San Remo

This house was very comfortable for 3 adults and two dogs. The couches were very comfy. The kitchen was well appointed with lots of appliances etc. BBQ was wonderful. The beds allowed for a good nights sleep. Everything was within walking distance- beaches, shops, restaurants. Great to have fully enclosed yards- allowing the dogs to get fresh air.

We were disappointed with the bed configuration it was different to what was advertised, 5 adults staying and we had worked out nobody would have to sleep in a top bunk, a couple of other issue, toilet seats and house needed a clean otherwise we had a lovely stay, thanks

The perfect tranquil dog friendly location

Wow ! This property had so much more than initially offered, kitchen filled with cutlery, pots, cleaning equipment, games, beach gear, you name it, it's there! You can tell this home is well loved and it gives off that warm, cosy feeling the minute you step in the door. With the dog beach a short walk away and the shops within a few minutes was ideal for us and our pooches ! Having them safe and secure in the incredibly beautiful garden was so important to us. Waking up to the ocean views was just stunning, a beautiful home to escape reality Paul & Belinda were wonderful to communicate with, thank you for hosting us over such a difficult weekend for us 💖 We will definitely be back 🐾✨

Really enjoyed our time here

We were so comfortable in this house. Loved the spaciousness and light and being able to see a bit of water from the house. Good lived in feel that wasn't too precious. An excellent spot as a base for getting around. We went to Phillip Island, Wonthaggi, Inverloch and saw friends in Corinella as well as exploring San Remo itself. Had a few afternoon beers at the pub looking out over the water and were lucky to have great weather. A couple of problems - luckily we took our own towels as there were no towels provided (did find one in the small bedroom) and no bath mats, and the fridge is tiny. The upstairs TV only gets SBS (which isn't such a bad thing) but overall we had a really wonderful get away and our little old Jack Russell loved snoofling around the garden and the dog friendly beaches. Would definitely do it again - 9/10

Despite the great location and lovely views towards Cape Woolamai the overall stay was very disappointing. My friends and I were aware it was pet-friendly accommodation and while we weren’t expecting a brand-new shiny home we had anticipated the property to at least be clean for our arrival. There was a smell of dog throughout the whole house, in the extra blankets and furniture. It was particularly strong in the sunroom area. Dog hair was clearly visible on the rugs and carpet. The kitchen cupboards and handles had a grimy build-up on them. There was lots of dust and hair behind and underneath almost all the future. I stayed in the upstairs room and found a pubic hair on the bedside stand. Paul was quick to respond and allowed an early check in time (thank you) however didn’t seem to care about the state of the house other than saying he would let the cleaners know. The firewood was well stocked and the fireplace easy to light.

We love this property. It has a relaxed vibe with everything you need for a lovely break. San Remo is a treasure, fantastic in its own right but close to all that Phillip Island has to offer. There are great local cafes and the walk to town via the beach is awesome.
