About the host
Hosted by Maggie
Hi I'm Maggie. I'm a semi-retired language teacher and have been hosting for several years a wide array of interesting guests from all over the world. Guests love staying at the Ship House because it's a spacious yet cosy retreat for families and groups of friends to entertain and relax in.
Why they chose this property
Our house is in a natural setting surrounded by trees and birdlife within walking distance to the Mornington golf course where you can enjoy walks along the coastal cliff with breath-taking views of the sea. The local "Mills Beach" is just a five minute walk away and suitable for families and groups of friends for swimming, paddle boarding and walks along the shore leading to the Mornington pier for a morning coffee.
What makes this property unique
I think our house is special for its beautiful, relaxed environment. It is also very spacious and comfortable with a wide range of amenities for entertaining and relaxing, including books, DVDs, board games and outdoor activities. If you like "cosy", our home is full of vintage charm and character in the style of older Mornington homes.
