Loved the look out our window of Mount Roland and got some great picks of the highland cows and donkeys that were running around in the back paddock with the mountain as a lovely backdrop
Our little cottage was quaint and cosy and had a superb outlook on the incredible mountain range. When we arrived, the highland cows, donkeys and wallabies were all there to say hello under the mist beautiful full rainbow! It was the perfect place to stay with kids with so much for them to see and explore and of course having the maze just down the road, made the location ideal.
We really had an amazing time during our stay in Tassie at your accomodation. Luky, you are an amazing host and your help with activities for us to do was outstanding. Such a hopistable place. No doubt we will visit again..👌🏽😊😊

Basic accommodation is a convenient location
The accommodation is basic but in a beautiful location and very convenient to travel to Cradle Mountain + Devonport.
This property was great for a getaway. It could do with a little love and attention but everything was on hand that we needed.
Our ‘neighbours’ (3 donkeys! 2 highland cattle! A beautiful horse!) visited for apples every day (but the chook was standoffish.)
Times to Cradle Mountain were accurate and we loved the local attractions.
Thanks for some great memories!!!

Amazing Stay with lovely hosts
Right from the beginning our booking Lukey was super helpful. We got directions about how to get there and the cottage is lovely and the surroundings stunning. Lukey is super helpful. We would totally go back and stay there again!

Good property, but lacking maintenance
This is a lovely property in a beautiful location with stunning views. The owners have obviously invested an enormous amount in this property, which is a real labour of love. We especially appreciate the effort they put into making it a fun place for kids - our kids didn't want to leave!
Unfortunately, it's obviously also a very difficult property to maintain. Our cabin was not clean, and was haphazardly presented. The (very) many bikes on the property are almost all broken, and the "miniature golf course" was overgrown with weeds. These are just a few examples. Given the size of the cabins (quite large) and the beautiful location, it probably still represents good value. But don't come expecting very high standards, as you'll likely be disappointed.

Thanks Mark for Posting an enviable 4 star Rating & Posting your comments too. Yes... consider the mini golf de-commissioned ! Always approx 20% of bikes need attention. We know this. The 80% remaining still leaves at least 30 functioning purrrfectly. Guests kids give them a real "bashing"..... as do some of their weighty parents inappropriately riding bikes designed for only 5 year olds. Our CCTV footage of this is hilarious (and resultant damage is costly for us). Your cottage was spotless ! We appreciate new parents with young babies often believe nothing is ever clean enough.....which is why we refuse to supply guests with baby linen. BYO. So glad you loved the awesome location & stunning views. We will never attempt to impose Suburban manicure on our natural beauty. No wonder your kids didnt want to leave ! :)
