Notified the host of bad back ache from bed after second night and remedial massage needed, host wasn’t concerned. Following third night advised host of cockroaches downstairs and upstairs, and actually had cockroach crawl onto arm in bed.!! Poor cleanliness, extremely unhealthy.!! Was surprised host did not offer apology or offer partial refund.!

Thank you for your feedback. We were surprised by this review, as you requested and stayed an additional night beyond your original booking, with payment for the extra night needing to be followed up by us just before your departure. When back discomfort was mentioned after the second night, no further concerns were raised at the time. The cockroach concern was only raised after the third night, following our reminder regarding the outstanding payment. Had we been informed earlier, we would have investigated immediately. We take cleanliness and guest comfort seriously and encourage guests to raise any concerns during their stay so they can be addressed promptly.

Small, neat and tidy property. good location for walks along the beach. comfortable beds. Overall a nice place. My only negative was the street noise. I didn't expect that as I didn't realise it was such a busy street. Got used to it but it is loud. Host was wonderful to deal with!! communication was A+ Property was a little smaller than expected but fine for the 2 of us.

Property needs some love

Considering the large cleaning fee which was added I was surprised that the property seemed so dirty and unloved. I would also be concerned about the safety of the railing of the stairs (there is quite a large gap which may be dangerous for small children). Note also that the bedrooms are not air-conditioned and the children's bedroom gets very warm. However the location is great and very close to the beach and there are some cute beach accessories which can be used.

Hey Jaclyn, I'm sorry to hear you were so underwhelmed with our beach place, we take great pride in our premise and our cleanliness is of a very high standard, I check every clean and I find it very odd and unfair for you to harshly suggest otherwise. Our cleaning fee is very reasonable and comparable to others. There are images on the website of what to expect when you book including a couple of the standard staircase which clearly show whether suitable or not for your children. Our original Mollymook Beach place is not only loved but adored, it certainly has the holiday vibe that most guests are looking for and appreciate when they stay!

Winter Break

Had a very pleasant weekend break in Mollymook. Fortunately the weather was kind but the house was well equipped and warm and dry (especially as there was torrential rain in the night) but the days were lovely. Good spot for walks around Mollymook and handy for the Golf Club for dinner.

Super close to the beach

Enjoyed our stay at Ocean Breeze. The place was very clean and had all the basics. Loved the succulents arranged on the towels etc. Location was handy to the beach. Road was a little noisy, but there isn’t much you can do about that!! Thanks
