Mollybeen, Fantastic location. 5 min flat walk to beach, shops & Mollymook Bowlo

Close to everything! Large holiday house at the quieter, northern end of Mollymook Beach with open plan living area extending onto a huge outdoor, undercover deck which overlooks the reserve at the rear of the property.

Easy access to all local amenities: Less than 5 minute, easy flat walk to beach, local shops and Mollymook Bowling Club. Walk to the beach and shops via the back garden gate & through bush reserve to Mitchell Parade (beach front) or across the sports ground to shops.

House is on 2 levels. The ground level, upstairs has a large open plan living area with TV and Blu Ray player, fully equipped kitchen and dining for 8 people. This room opens onto a large, private sheltered deck at the rear of the house offering outdoor lounges, table setting and BBQ ..... or hammock for those wanting to just relax to the sound of the waves and the breeze in the trees. Also on this level are 2 queen bedrooms and bathroom with shower.

Downstairs is a perfect kids/teen retreat or separate accommodation, with 2 adjoining rooms; 1 with twin single beds and another large rumpus style room with 4 single day beds/beds, TV, DVD, sink & fridge. There is a second bathroom with shower and bath on this level. Access to all the downstairs rooms is outdoor but undercover. There is another large, undercover deck on this level which opens onto the private rear garden with direct access to the reserve.

The garden is fully fenced and upstairs deck area can be gated and secured for dogs if needed. There is plenty of shelter for them if leaving pets unattended.

Other amenities include: Laundry/washing machine & dryer. Dishwasher. Wood-burning heater (upstairs). Off street parking for 2-3 cars.

All linen is supplied (bedding, towels, tea towels etc.) with all your pantry essentials such as tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, cooking oil etc. We do our best to keep all essentials amply stocked so you shouldn't need to bring anything with you!

Outside busy holiday times, we can be flexible with check-in & out times enjoy an early check in and late check out to make the most of weekend stays.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Brilliant large house in Mollymook, suitable for either a family or multiple families/groups. Two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and a large living area and deck upstairs with more accommodation downstairs. The house was well equipped and a short walk from the beach and shops. Just perfect!

We had 9 nights at Mollybeen and its was just perfect for our family of 4 teens, 2 adults and our beloved dog. Access to the beach via the back gate and reserve is awesome, walking distance to local shops, Mollymook Golf Club and Bowlo is wonderful. It felt like a home away from home, thank you, we will definitely return.

Mollybeen is magnificent

Another fantastic stay at Mollybeen. We keep coming back because the property is great, the location fantastic with beach, bowling club and football field all less than 5 minutes walk. Relaxing in the hammock on the huge deck is a highlight of the year! Nicola is a super easy host to communicate with. We will definitely be back!

Lovely place

We think the house is beautiful and has so many nice spots to relax in, but we didn't have enough time to use them all. The only minus is that it isn't very close to the beach; and it is very well appointed, close to many amenities.

A lovely stay at Mollybeen

This was the perfect place for us to stay with our young people aged in their teens and early 20s. The living area is generously sized, comfortable with lovely views of the surrounding bushland. Good sized decks. Just a short walk to the beach was trekked several times. The beds are comfortable and the younger ones enjoyed their space in the downstairs accommodation, but just to note that no internal access. We really enjoyed our time at Mollybeen. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic Property

Great location, 10 minute walk to beach and shops. Clean and comfortable with spacious areas to easily accommodate 8. By far the best house we have stayed in over 30 years of continuous (minus Covid period) trips to the South Coast. Having linen supplied was a first and very much appreciated. Well equipped kitchen. The only grievance was the lack of a pot large enough to cook a one-pot meal for 8. The coffee machine and provided supplies was appreciated. Enjoyed watching the football, and replays via YouTube, on the large TV. Highly recommend this fantastic property.

Love Mollybeen

We have been coming to Mollybeen for 6 of the past 8 years (the gap thanks to COVID) and it is our absolute most favourite place. A close walk to the beach, the bowling club and with a footy field out the back it is perfectly located. The house itself is a great setup, and in our time here both the kitchen and downstairs areas have been updated. But the deck overlooking the gum trees is still the absolute highlight. Nicola is super easy to deal with and everything from arriving to departing is simple. A great example of what holiday accommodation is all about. We are already booking our dates for 2024!

A lovely beach house with all comforts provided, including everything you might need to cook a family meal. We had a wonderful family weekend with my elderly grandmother who found everything easy with the ramp access to the main house and bedrooms. Care must be taken with small children on the upstairs deck, and I admit I didn't realise the downstairs bedrooms were accessible via an external staircase (which can be a bit chilly), but otherwise everthing was wonderful. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great house for large family including dogs. Lovely bush outlook, with 5 minute bush treck to the beach. No internal access to downstairs and it took a couple of days to realise the hot water was turned off and to find the switch. Large balconies, well equipped and stocked kitchen and air con heats upstairs nicely. Had a lovely time.

Why they chose this property

We find the location ideal - being close to everything; beach, shops and the local 'Bowlo'..... but not right in the hub and crowds of all the hotels and B&Bs.

What makes this property unique

We can sleep 10, so instead of having to book several separate rooms in a hotel - why not all stay together in one house and have the extra space to share too. We are dog lovers so all your furry friends are more than welcome as well.
