Fantastic - highly recommend

Perfect property for our weekend - 5 couples. Space was fantastic, each couple had own bathroom and king size bed, Fireplaces and games room added to the experience. Very comfortable and private. Highly recommend this property if visiting the area.

Amazing property and location with plenty of space and privacy!

Amazing place that is perfect to share with your family. The grounds are stunning and the house is very well maintained and stocked. We loved having drinks and watching the sun set over the vineyards in your own private and intimate space. The plunge pool was perfect for an early morning or late evening dip to refresh. Cannot wait to come back again!

Recharged the batteries!

From the moment we arrived the amazing sceanery just instantly calmed us. There are so many areas where we could just relax and enjoy our surroundings. The place was clean and tidy and close to all the Hunter deliveries.

It was magical. Went for mums 60th. Couldn't have asked for more. Lifetime memories to cherish was created here. Everyone had ample space and the house is so gigantic we could enjoy with families, friends and kids without any dramas. Great set up and location. Will definitely return back.

Family Easter

We all had plenty of space to enjoy our lovely long weekend in the Hunter. Vico Monti is a nice home, set up to have large groups, and they provide opportunities to have some fun times. We enjoyed playing Finksa and pool, sitting and watching the sunset with the kangaroos hopping through the vineyards. The outdoor table was a lovely setting as we had a local catering company in to prepare a birthday lunch for my mum. The house was very clean, plenty of bathrooms, aircon and amenities to make for a very nice stay.

Vico Monti Review

We booked this venue based on the fact there were 3 fireplaces (2 slow combustion and one open fireplace), as shown in the photo gallery, however, it wasn't until we arrived at the house and read the compendium that we noted we could not light those fires, even though there was plenty of kindling and firewood and matches available beside the fireplaces (between October and April). A phone call to management after checking in confirmed this.

Great place to spend a weekend away.

The house is very spacious. Bedrooms and are spacious and confortable. Views are amazing! We had a group of 10 and everyone loved it! Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place to enjoy The Hunter

“Our stay at Vico Monti was absolutely lovely. The house was in such a beautiful setting with the dam filled with ducks and the kangaroos coming down at dusk to greet us. The bedrooms were decorated so lovely and everyone was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms were large and the beautiful lavender toiletries appreciated. There was plenty of room for everyone. This place is so close to everything and we will definitely be back. Thank you for a comfortable, relaxing stay.”

A home away from home!

“Our group of 12 ladies (and one baby) celebrating a hens weekend absolutely loved Vico Monti and everything it had to offer! It was clean, cosy, well set out and looked after. It felt like home away from home. The location was amazing - so quiet and peaceful and then to only drive 10-15 minutes and be at some amazing restaurants and wine tours was perfect. We will be coming back! Thank you!”

Wonderful Hunter escape

Everything was excellent quality. The small touches such as nespresso machine, ample capsules, tea, Bluetooth speakers, etc. were all enjoyed. Great communication beforehand in terms of room set-up and check-in. Early check-in and late check-out by an hour was also facilitated. All in all, one of the best rental properties I have stayed in.

The perfect house for a weekend escape!

It was the perfect house for having a group of friends escape sydney and unwind in the Hunter Valley. The house was beautifully presented with its rustic furnishing and modern-country vibe. The view and sunset on the patio was very tranquil and the position of the house was very central to most places. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to any group/family/friends who want to stay in a house. Thank you for our child-free weekend escape!

Fantastic for a large group

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away. The accommodation provided great facilities for a large group. The annex was great and played hosted to people who stayed up later leaving people in the main house the sleep. The accommodation was clean and tidy and had everything we want and needed.

Stunning Property. Beautifully presented house

Lovely layout, clean throughout. Big spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds. Absolutely everything you could need from vacuum bags to red wine stain spray. There's a lovely table and chairs out the back with beautiful views and a great living/dining space for the whole family. Really recommended for week or weekend stays for friends and family wanting a true Hunter experience. Top wineries are just a stone's throw away.
