Located in an early 18th century building on the Schultergasse/Jordangasse, a picturesque street a few steps from Judenplatz, in the nicest area of the historic centre, a UNESCO world heritage landmark. The whole area is pedestrian, including the Jordangasse and Schultergasse, with the nicest cafés and restaurants in Vienna.

The famous baroque architect Fischer von Erlach (Schönbruun, Karlskirche, National library etc) used to live in this building until he passed in 1723!!

The flat, on the third floor (fourth American) with elevator, is very spacious, 120m² (1,300 sq.f.), and has 2 dedicated bedrooms, a living room/dining room (with 2 extra beds), as well as a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom (with shower) and a separate toilet.

The entertainment center in the living room includes a 40” HDTV with Android TV.

It also features a bookshelf with leaflets and books about Vienna. An unlimited and fast WIFi Internet connexion is included in the price.

Beautiful appartment at a great location

Location and apartment are fantastic. Supermarket and many restaurants within 25 metres. U-bahn within 10 minutes walk. We had a wonderful stay.

Excellent experience

Excellent experience. The apartment is large and comfortable and in an excellent location. Max, the property manager couldn't have been better. He met us at the apartment and explained everything and supplied very useful information about the neighborhood. When we had questions and contacted him we would get a response within minutes.

Perfect location on quiet square

Loved our stay in this spacious apartment for our family of 5. Very centrally located but tucked away on a pedestrian street right off judenplatz square, so quiet. Has an elevator, 2 gates so felt secure. Laundry convenient though faster to air dry than use dryer feature. Kitchen is bigger than most in Europe with microwave and dishwasher. 8 min walk to am Hof Christmas market and my favorite Freyung is 10 min further. About equal distance to herregasse or Stephen platz subway stops (12 min). Airport transfers set up by host were cheaper than taxis and both times no hassle. Would come back!

Felt like royalty

This apartment was perfect for our family of four. We parked e car in the garage and never needed it again. The apartment is right in the heart of the city center and very near a metro stop for further points. The apartment has everything you need to cook in with a fabulous grocery store around the corner, carry in from near by to go restaurants or you can easily walk to plenty of restaurants. The apartment offered great Internet, movies for young and older and travel guides. The neighbors were also very helpful and cheerful. I can't say enough...this apartment was great for our family, clean, stocked and comfortable. It is a bit tricky to find, but once you do, the location is great as is the apartment. The people at Elegant Vienna were also easy to work with and helpful.

Excellent location in Vienna!!

I stayed in this apartment with 4 other people. The lady who met us was kind, and helpful. We had a flight mix up and she was there for us even though we were late. It was spacious and everyone had their own personal place. The kitchen was great with everything that you need. We didn't cook much as it was way to hot and the windows do not open in the kitchen to get any airflow. We did use the coffee machine, and fridge ,as we had breakfast in the apartment most days. We used the tv, stereo and the wireless internet connection. Location was excellent for everything..tourist places, shopping, dining out, and sight seeing. The tour operator got us mixed up with the hotel adagio and was late picking us up one morning, but we were helped by another lady who lives in the building as we did not speak the language. The gentleman that lives next door was friendly and a good neighbor. The temperature in Vienna while we were there was mid 30's, so the apartment did get warm, however, there were 2 fans in the apartment which kept the air moving and we did manage to get some sleep at night. I am not sure if air conditioning is a possibility in the apartment but it sure would have been nice. The pictures posted are very accurate, as was the location description. It was clean and we had great communication with the owners. I would stay there again as it was perfect for almost all our needs. We liked the pub on the corner in the Judenplatz in the evenings. The breeze came through there nicely and the beer was cold after a day of hot weather.

Super schönes Appartment in nächster Nähe zum Stephansdom und der U-Bahn. Einkaufsmöglichkeit (Billa) in 3min (3 verschiedene Bäcker in 2min erreichbar). Relativ ruhig. Küche praktisch eingerichtet, Möbel in Küche und Badezimmer mit Defekten, sonstige Einrichtung sehr stilvoll und in gutem Zustand. WC sehr eng. Praktisch mit Waschmaschine, Abwaschmaschine. Tabs, Abwaschmittel etc. vorhanden. Sehr unkomplizierter Check-in. Wir würden wieder diese Wohnung wählen. Vielen Dank!

First trip to Vienna and the apartment was part of a great trip. Spacious, well equipped and in a great central location. All the city centre highlights are easily walkable. Amazing supermarket 200m from the apartment with wine bar!

Lovely apartment, great location

The Adagio is a well situated apartment located about a 6 minute walk to the Ubahn Stephenplatz station. I was working in Vienna for 4 weeks, during this time my husband and teenage daughter also joined me. We found the apartment to be quite spacious and suitable for our needs. The kitchen was perfect and aptly supplied for making meals. Christian was a great host and easily accessible if we had questions. The building is quiet, as well as, the neighborhood. There are plenty of nearby restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and grocery stores. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

Wonderful apartment

Adagio is a beautiful apartment in the centre of old Vienna. Despite its central location, it is quiet and peaceful. All arrangements with the owner and manager were handled smoothly. We would happily stay in Adagio again and recommend it without hesitation. It is a gem.

Amazing Viennese experience

Our family of 4 with almost 6-year old twins spent an amazing week in this apartment. It was our first European trip since our kids were born and we wanted for it to feel special. And this place exceeded our expectations. We loved everything about this apartment from its elegance to its close proximity to all the major Vienna attractions. It's located in a quiet street close to St. Stephan cathedral, so we walked to many destinations in Viennas historical part, to the museum quarter. Nice food places and grocery shops are a block or two away, as are the city bikes that we used to get to farther places, like the Danube island. The apartment is spacious and filled with light. I could imagine it to be comfortable even for larger groups than ours.

The apartment was great, but could use a little work on the wooden flooring. Close to shopping, and other conveniences, about 5 min walk from Stephenplatz, but also a bit less touristy than other areas, very quiet location, and secure.

Apartment beautiful and as advertised

My husband and I stayed here for over two months with a variety of visitors. This apartment was just what we were looking for and was accurately described. Property, an historic building, was clean, well-maintained and close (walking distance) to all district one activities/locations. The host and hostess were very helpful and informative. We would definitely recommend this property and would return ourselves if the occasion arose. Just two blocks to a great grocery store, international cinema around the corner with movies in English, and great bakeries, coffee shops and restaurants close-by. Neighbors were really nice to us as well. Highly recommend!

Great location!

Very nice apartment, clean, well located, spacious exactly as described. Owner was very fast in answering inquiries. Thank you so much to Ruth who told us how to get to our apartment from the train station and who made sure we had a cab waiting for us the day of our departure. She even left us some coffee beans because we arrived on a Saturday night and grocery stores are closed on Sundays. We had a very nice stay!

Adagio is aabsolutely perfect apartments!!!

We stay in Monica’s and Christian’s Adagio apartments in the beginning of November 2013 year. The apartment was wonderful, looked exactly like at the pictures (even better) and it has very convenient location in absolutely quite area, and only in 1 step from main streets in the middle center of the 1st district. The windows of the flat are opening into an interior courtyard so there is no street noise at all. You can easily reach all main sightseeing, shops and café and then after all sightseeing, shops and cafe you, very tired, would be meet by cozy and absolutely homely atmosphere of Adagio apartment. The apartment is very well equipped and has all necessary things, even more for comfort staying of family of 4-6 persons. Monica and Christian and their assister Ruth keeps the apartment absolutely clean, sleeping beds are convenient with very comfortable matrass, which allow you to have good night's sleep and relax. Christian was very friendly and courteous quickly answered on all my messages, in spite of my endless questions and e-mails. We really enjoyed staying in this apartment and would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking to stay in Vienna. Thank you so much!

Beautiful Apartment in an Amazing Location

First, I would like to compliment Christian and Ruth on their amazing customer service. From the very first inquiry to meeting us at the apartment, they both went out of their way to promptly and courteously answer even the most mundane question. As for the apartment itself, it is gorgeous! Incredibly clean and furnished with every amenity you could wish for during your stay. We have rented apartments in France and Italy and I can assure you that these are by far the most comfortable beds we have found in Europe! As for location: numerous restaurants and two markets within a few blocks of the apartment. Most attractions are within walking distance, but the Stephanplatz U-Bahn (metro) stop is only a 5 minute walk from the apartment (along which you will pass by some of the most amazing high-end shops in Vienna). In short, if you are planning on traveling to Vienna and looking for an apartment, look no further! We would absolutely recommend Christian and his apartment to anyone without reservation!

Die ideale Wohnung für einen Städtetrip nach Wien!

Ich war mit meiner Freundin und ihrer Tochter in diesem Appartement. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Die Raümlichkeiten sind sehr großzügig, sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ich habe es erfahren wie angenehm es ist, mitten in der Stadt zu wohnen, vieles ist zu Fuß erreichbar, und besonders bequem wenn man spät "nachhause" geht. Ich hatte im Urlaub noch nie eine so gut ausgestattete Küche, es fehlt wirklich nichts, auch im Wohnzimmer, schnelles W-lan, moderne Anlage. Und wir habe auch gut geschlafen, die Betten sind sehr komfortabel. Der Lift war klein, aber wir konnten doch alle mit unserem Gepäck fahren. Es hatte uns sehr gefallen mitten im historischen Zentrum zu wohnen. Wir können das Appartement mit gutem Gewissen jedem weiter empfehlen.

Excellent apartment

Our family of four stayed in this apartment for a week and have been really happy for this choice. We have been travelling with two children and the comfort of the flat was really important for us! So I can say that the apartment is perfect - it is absolutely new, clean, spacious, warm, the location is excellent - 3 minutes by foot to Graben, Shtefansplatz, U-bahn station, lots of restaurants and shops in the area. Also it has to be mentioned that the kitchen is absolutely, fully equipped - there is everything needed! Thanks to Christian and Ruth for their warm welcome and being very helpful (they even brought toys for our children). I would certainly recommend this apartment to everyone and sure, I will stay there definetly for the next time.
