We enjoyed our stay at Island Bay Cottage. It was very clean and we loved all the decorations, and check-in was super easy. The location of the cottage was great and we either walked or rode our bikes to town almost every day.
My husbabd and i come to visit family every year .This was the first year we staye here ,everything was great .The property was spotless and gad everything we needed . Adam is a great host and goes above and beyond to accommodate.
The place was clean and cozy! Adam was very responsive and kind! I would like to come back the same time next year if he will have us!
Great views and convenient location as a plus as well!
The cottage was an excellent place to stay the week. Clean, spacious, great location and had plenty of room inside and out. We had a bass boat and trailer with us and there was plenty of room for parking and electric outlets for charging. Very conveniently located to the river, boat ramps, restaurants and shops. Excellent communication with management. Will definitely be back and send my friends, too.
Place was super clean, right on the water and close to everything - marinas and launches being 2 key aspects.
I brought my bass boat and no issue parking right out front and getting power to the boat for charging the batteries.
Communication was immediate when needed.
Woukd give it 6 star's if I could.
My siblings and I organized this trip as a gift for our parents to stay here and have the opportunity to explore the Thousand Islands. They had a fantastic time! My dad said the place was "clean, very convenient, and our experience was plenty private. Their restaurant was good; it was very busy on Friday evening, but the food was good, the beer was cold, and the wait staff was great. Would recommend."
Definitely was as pictured however sleeping accommodations left us tired. The bed and pillows really need to be updated, they have seen better days. On the whole would definitely recommend. The kitchen and living areas were easy to access and the deck on the side was great for morning coffee and happy hour!
Points of interest were accessible in short span of time so location was spot on. Fishing wasn’t too good but not owners fault!
The place is very clean and cozy, close proximity to shops and town center. The yard is well-kept. Enjoyable patio that overlooks the marina, a good space to enjoy your morning beverage while watching the sunrise & its reflection by the water. The fir tree in the yard gives ample shade if you decide to enjoy a good book to read outside or just a nice siesta in the afternoon. Adam carefully thought of things for guests to use to give it more a “home-away-from-home” vibe. Communication is excellent. I would suggest a “black-out” shade/blinds as an option for the windows for those who wanted to sleep in especially in the summer time. Although the outdoor table umbrella was not available at the time we were there, we decided to have our 4th of July barbecue and use the grill later in the afternoon which the cottage gave plenty of shade from the sun. We had an enjoyable and relaxing stay and our labradoodle enjoyed it as well (although I got an insurance for the owner’s peace of mind having a dog with us). I would recommend and stay here again when visiting the area. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
