Nestled in a landscaped garden, the two story cottage encourages luxurious relaxation. From the linen sheets and doona cover on the huge King bed, the luxury towels, the Robert Gordon coffee mugs and the cosy throw rugs, every nook and cranny has a touch of magic.
Make a fresh coffee with the coffee machine, perch on the fabulous deep Wattle Living sofa to catch a favourite movie or indulge in a glass of wine alfresco at the Melton Craft outdoor table setting in your personal cottage garden. Whip up a meal in the fully appointed kitchen, and then dine at the beautifully appointed table. Throw open the French door upstairs and nestle into the big sofa chair with a good book, nestling your toes into the luxurious sheepskin rug. Work creatively on line at the elegant desk in the wrought iron surrounded study nook. Take a long hot shower, and then collect the fresh towels off the heated towel rails.
Ideally appointed for a couple, a group of two or three friends, or a small family, from the second you turn the key in the gate you are home away from home.

On the practical side:
The King bed can be split into two king singles, and the Koala Cushy sofa bed upstairs will very comfortably accommodate a third person.
The European laundry has a washer/dryer for longer stays, or you can airdry your clothes on the outdoor line.
The living room sofa is usually set as a three seater and chair, however can be configured for you as an L Lounge, a three seater with sofa chair, or two seater with two sofa chairs! Ascot Vale Cottage is located 200m from the Union Road Shopping Village, with excellent cafes (including No. 19, Grandpa Joe's, Love Latte, Little Byrd), restaurants (including The Vale Bar and Eatery, Arcardia Gastronomique, Saigon Soul) and wine bars (The Union Wine Store), as well as the iconic Happy Apple Store.
Renowned shopping strip Puckle Street Moonee Ponds is a short stroll away, and it is an easy walk to the Melbourne showgrounds and of course, the Flemington Racecourse! Join the Spring Carnival season attendees in their beautiful designer clothes as they stream past to this premier event.

The Ascot Vale Station is a moment up the road, and just 4 stops to the City Loop.
Trams run along Union Road into the City at frequent intervals
