My husband and I enjoyed our time in Jaco together very much, and would recommend this condo to anyone looking for relaxation, sunshine, and being by the ocean! We walked the beach every morning and spent part of the day by the pool at Croc’s resort next door. That is a plus if you stay at The Palms, they always, except for sometimes on Saturday, have plenty of chairs by the pool, and usually with an umbrella. We stayed at a place last year down the beach a ways and could not get a chair the whole time we were there! It is a 10 to 15 minute walk into town, we always wait until later in the afternoon because it’s pretty hot to walk into town in the middle of the day. A wonderful bakery in town is Panche Pan’s, we love their sweet crescent rolls! Also taxis are between 2 to 3 dollars but it helps to get local colones at the bank when you get there. The people in Costa Rica are very friendly, it helps to know a little Spanish, I think they appreciate us trying to use their language.
