This Beautiful home has a large cold water swim spa next to a Glamorous Outdoor Kitchen and Pavilion to entertain your family and friends. Steps away from your private riverfront on our property with Picnic Tables in the river to enjoy.

Starting in 2026 we will implement our sliding scale pricing, this home has a base price of $695.00 a night with 12 guests, each guest above 12 will be $25 per night per person extra, this will help our groups that have smaller number of guests save a little extra money.

Awesome Trip

We go every summer and this has been our favorite house to stay in so far! The house has a lot of space and the outdoor area is great. It’s a short walk or drive down to the water. And the host, Donny, was helpful and always available.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The bedroom layouts were perfect for 3 families. The outdoor area was our favorite spot. Kitchen was supplied with everything we needed for large meals. Only small issue was we didn’t have enough coffee cups for our large group. The river spot is a short walk. Maybe 300 yards. The host is super friendly and we enjoyed meeting him. We will definitely stay here again!

Great spot on the Frio

Although there was no floating the river this year, this spot on the river still had plenty of water to sit out and enjoy. We loved that it had river access, a swim spa and when able to float, they shuttle you and you float back to the property. My family has been going to the Frio for over 40 years. We’ve never stayed anywhere that offered so much!

What an amazing place to celebrate my mother's 50th birthday! We had plenty of space & really enjoyed the outdoor area where we spent most of our time. Donny was an awesome host! Frio River trip

Donny has this figured out. Been to the Frio many times in the past, but none as good as this trip. Never a worry once we got checked in. Place is secure and we never had to worry about putting any of our stuff away at night. House is great. Location is perfect. It was a really enjoyable trip and one we will do again.

Frio River Family Vacation

Great property with many options on where to stay. Ella’s was perfect for our family. Plenty of room and comfortable sleeping arrangements. The kitchen and living room were spacious. The outside area had plenty of room for cooking and hanging out. The path to the river was a short walk with a picnic table and our own access to the river. The owner, Don, was very hospitable and quick to respond when we had a question. We are looking forward to making this our yearly family vacation spot!

I’m a retired Dry Cleaner from South Texas, that moved up to the Frio River in 2016 and built these glamorous homes on the land that my mom and dad bought in 1960, I run them with Passion and Delight seeing renters come here year after year enjoying their family getaway on my beautiful resort.

Why they chose this property

I chose this area because my parents bought this land in 1960 for our family to enjoy over the years, I've kept it in my family and kept my father's dream of having friends enjoy it for many years to come. It was literally in the backwoods and we would not see a soul around. We would come and do our family vacations year after since I was born

What makes this property unique

This property is unique because it's still in our family. We have private riverfront for our guest to enjoy, many of the countertops, wood tops, and bar tops, that you will see I actually custom built myself, using my sawmill and trees that came off this property or nearby counties. I own it myself, I manage it myself, just as I did my dry cleaning business for 38 years using my people skills and building skills to give my guest an experience they won't find in this area! I guess I'm friends that come back and enjoy the special place I've built.
