Property was OK, but had some co veniences that were advertised that did t work.No Wi-Fi, no ice maker and no amenities. Everything needs to be rented, which is fine except kind of an extra expense when not expecting.Place was fine for the price we paid.

Good property

This was a good last minute find that could hold 3 families, ten people total and each having our own bathroom. The property is in a super convenient location. The extra beach towels and washer and dryer were great extra features. My only complain was not knowing that this was shared house and that there was other people upstairs and the beds not being memory foam… other than that it was great.
Response from VrboOwner on 27 Mar, 2026
Thank you, Hannah, for leaving such a thoughtful review about your stay at The Gathering Place! We’re delighted to hear that our property was a great find for your group of three families and that you appreciated the convenience of having your own bathrooms. It’s wonderful to know that the extra beach towels and the washer and dryer added to your comfort. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the shared nature of the house and the type of beds. Your feedback is valuable, and we’ll take it into consideration moving forward. We hope to welcome you back for another enjoyable stay! Steven, iTrip Charleston Beaches

WORST property I have ever rented!!!!!We have owned and operated a travel agency since 1986, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Rundown inside and outside!!!!We have photos to share with anyone considering this property.Broken rundown furniture , dirty kitchen, clogged sinks and outside was worse.
