About this property

Heaven On Earth near The Shenandoah River

Relax and unwind at our newly renovated cabin and enjoy all the comforts of home while surrounded by the beauty of the Shenandoah River and mountains. While it is a perfect hideaway for two, it can sleep up to seven with its beautifully decorated three bedrooms.



Each bedroom, as well as the Living Room and the Loft, is equipped with a smart TV a and DVD player. The cabin sits on 1.5 acres of flat land with river access. After a day on the River or hiking through the nearby GW National Forest, relax in the 6-person hot tub under the stars or play pool, air hockey, and board games in the spacious game rooms, or simply sit in front of a roaring fire. Experience for yourself why we call our cabin "Heaven on Earth". Enjoy reliable internet access with the newly installed Starlink!



Things to note about Heaven on Earth:



Smart Tvs with Starlink wifi



Check-in is 3:00 PM and check-out 11:00 AM. Early check in or late check out may be available, please feel free to ask!



The base rate includes 4 people. Additional guests are an extra fee of $30 per person per night



Pets are allowed at Heaven on Earth. However, they must be OVER 20 pounds and you must submit a current rabies certificate. Pet Fee $100 per dog- maximum 2 dogs - (No cats, sorry!)



Please take your trash with you. There is dumpster access at the Shenandoah River Outfitters (less than a mile from the property). The house manager can take them for a tip of $5 per bag, if you would prefer.



There is a separate security deposit required for this property. Please feel free to ask us if you have any questions about it- we are happy to answer them!



The optional firewood charge of $10/night is for firewood. If you don't think you will use the firewood or would like to bring your own, please let us know! We are more than happy to refund that to you.

Cabin was in a wonderful location! We enjoyed the tranquility and peace. I loved the DVD collection although I couldn't find a DVD player that worked LOL Plenty of firewood for beautiful bonfires! The hot tub needs a lift assist for the cover. Could only use half of the hot tub. Would come back again for sure!!

Location was nice. Cleaning service needs to clean the hanging light's over kitchen table (very dirty) upstairs bedroom was very uncomfortable. Pool table needs updating. Hot tub was set at 109 very hot & only 1 seat had jets that worked. Check in was easy, nice yard, quiet area.

It was okay. Wish the game console worked, the pool table/cues were in sad, sad shape. Over grown trail to the river. The views were nice and the neighborhood was quiet. It was easy to find and get to things.

Perfect getaway spot

Very pleased with this place and will definitely book again. Place was very clean and ready to go. Hot tub was perfectly clean and prepped. A ton of good firewood. Cute landscaping around the outside. Plenty of kitchenware to make you feel at home. Very relaxing and enough privacy were it felt like a perfect getaway.

This was a perfect family mini vacation.

We brought the family for a long weekend and it was perfect. Not far from any of the must see attractions, this lovely cabin has all the comforts needed after enjoying the surroundings. The hot tub was wonderful and the fire pit was perfect for family time to finish the evening. Thank you!

Splendid cabin!

The cabin was very nice and clean, everything was very comfortable and homey feeling. The binder was very helpful to answer any questions we had, although we had a bit of trouble with the hot tub. The area of luray was wonderful and appreciated all the recommended things to do!!

Family trip to Luray

Our family enjoyed staying at the cabin. The property listing was accurate and it was well stocked and clean. The property manager was quick to reply and help us with an issue. The hot tub was great to relax in. The location worked for us as we visited the caverns and drove the Skyline Drive. Beautiful spot to visit.

Comfortable and clean lodgings

This was a great place to meet up with two other people. There is a bedroom on each floor and a bathroom on two of the floors. The game room is packed, and there is a library of books and DVDs. We enjoyed ourselves and were very comfortable hanging out in the living room, and on the deck.

Very Relaxing Stay

This property did not disappoint! Everything from chatting with the house manager to checking in and out went smoothly! The house literally had everything, we didn't have to leave for anything. They even had Christmas decor & a tree for our Christmas stay, we couldn't have asked for anything better! Thank you for making our Christmas vacay cozy and memorable!

Great for a small family

Cabin was nice! Only thing that was a little misleading is that it’s not as secluded as it looks from pictures. There are neighbors on all sides… and the river isn’t technically in the backyard although it is a very short walk!
