Whether you're visiting for summer lake days, winter snowmobiling, or the Lake George Winter Carnival, this spacious cottage offers a comfortable and convenient home base for your group.

The Space:

The living room is a great place to relax with two large couches and an indoor fireplace. A separate sitting room gives the group a little extra space to spread out, and an entryway futon provides flexible sleeping for overflow guests. The house cooled by window Air Conditioning from Mid-June-early September.

The cottage sleeps 10 comfortably 8 adults and 2 children:

* Master Bedroom -- Queen bed, dual night stands and two dressers, a TV, and a private en-suite with a shower/tub combo
* Second Bedroom -- Full bed, two nightstands, dresser, and a smart TV.
* Bunk Room -- Two bunk sets, each with a single on top and a full on the bottom, located in the back of the home
* Entryway Futon -- Additional sleeping option of a futon with a thick mattress is an extended option.

Two full bathrooms serve the home -- one in the hallway between the two main bedrooms, and a private en-suite in the master bedroom.

The backyard:

The partially fenced .6-acre yard gives you plenty of outdoor space. Out back you'll find a fire pit with 6 Adirondack chairs -- a nice spot for evening gatherings. Please note we do not provide firewood, though past guests have occasionally left some behind. A propane BBQ grill sits on the back patio, which is lined with string lights that turn on at dusk and run for about 4 hours.

* Home is located at the intersection of Beach road, and Route 9L in Lake George.
* Usher's Park Beach -- right next door for swimming and winter carnival access.
* Million Dollar Beach -- half mile away, large beach and boat launch.
* South Warren Snowmobile Trails -- directly across the street, you can ride your snow mobile out the back yard to the trail.
* Trolley Stop -- one block away at The Garrison Restaurant, with service to local attractions.
* Lake George Village & Steamboats -- just half a mile away.

Great family retreat locale

This is a great place for a family stay. The "dorm room" is separate from the rest of the house, making it perfect for group with two relationships (parents/couples and bunch of kids). We were a group attending business conference nearby, less ideal for business associates. Highly recommend for location, cleanliness and ease of access.

Beautiful Spot, Like Home Details

Our stay was great. This home has so many small home like supplies that made our weekend that much smoother. Owner was very quick to reply to messages. Fire pit and grill are two great bonuses as well. A beautiful location, would definitely stay here again when I return to the area

Stayed with family for couple of days and we really enjoyed it. Janell was always very quick in responding. The instructions were very detailed and helpful. The house is located just 5 min walk from million dollar beach. Overall very good experience.

Overall the property is very nice. The great room and electric fireplace are awesome and all rooms very clean and fresh. Beds are comfortable. The kitchen has most everything you need, just needs a little updating, except for appliances, they are new and very nice. The bedrooms and bathroom need privacy shades. Other than these minor details, the cottage is great and is in a perfect location.

A huge disappointment was the American flag touching the ground. We wrapped it around the pile and surely hope the homeowner buys a smaller flag or raises the holder. My email said the house number was 365 and the code to enter was 0369. After all 4 of us tried to get the lockbox open and we're unsuccessful, I sent an email to Janell. While we waited for a response, we realized the house was 369 so someone may want to fix that so nobody else endures those moments of stress that we did. The house was clean. However, the coffee pot had mold in it and we cleaned that and one of the mattress covers had dried blood stains. We enjoyed the house and the stay and we would rent again. Thanks for having us!

THE AIR CONDITIONER IN BUNK ROOM WAS NOT GETTING ROOM COLD. WE COULD NOT SIT IN ROOM WHERE YOU ENTER IT HAD NO AIR CONDITIONER. KITCHEN CABINET AND 3 DRAWS WERE FALLING OFF AND HANGING. CEREAL WAS UNDER THE COUCH. CLEANING SERVICE IS HORRIBLE BEDS WERRE MESSY WHEN WE WALKED IN. BBQ GRILL DIRTY AND VERY RUSTED. APPLIANCES NEED TO BE UP DATED. THE GRASS WAS NOT CUT. ALL AND ALL WE HAD A GREAT TIME BUT VERY DISAPPOINTED. i DID TAKE PICTURES BUT CAN NOT UPLOAD AT THIS TIME. WE JUST FELT BBQ GRILL SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO BE USED AND CABINETS COULD HAVE BEEN FIXED. SHE DID TELL US DISHWASHER WAS BROKE. THE HOST WAS VERY NICE, FRIENDLY AND PROMPT BUT HOUSE NEEDS SOME CARE AND CLEANING. I THOUGHT THAT WAS WHY WE PAY CLEANING FEE....

Hello! I am a busy mom of two young boys. I grew up in beautiful Lake George and recently purchased a property there in hopes of hosting others who will enjoy a fantastic summer vacation. I spend most of my time with family enjoying a walk or hike. I enjoy landscape photography, cooking, and gardening. I hope one day to retire and travel when our kids are older. For now, we hope to host others hoping to get away and enjoy a getaway in beautiful Lake George.
