perfect house

We had two perfect weeks in a perfect house (two families, six kids, age 1 - 9). The house is close to the beach and the distance is no problem for little kids. We used the outdoor shower and the plancha a lot. Sitting outside you find always a sunny and a shadded place. The house was clean and well equipped.

Beautiful perfectly equipped villa with a 1 min walk over the sand dunes to beach

Perfect for us in every way. Our extended family included 4 adults, 14 and 12 year old boys, one year old toddler and dog. The villa is beautiful and more than adequately equipped for all of us. The beach is a minute away across sand dunes or via a path if you have a buggy. There is a lovely cafe/restaurant for morning coffee (although the villa has a nespresso machine). Gorgeous location on ile de re with cycle tracks. We hired bikes with a trailer for our Viszla so he could come out with us too. Can’t recommend this enough. The photos of the villa on the website don’t do it justice. It really is a beautiful holiday home in a perfect location.

Découverte de l’île et calme

Après paiement sur le site parfaite communication avec le propriétaire. Tout est carré comme on aime. La réception se fait par Sylvie qu’on appelle la veille et elle est au top. La maison est très propre bien nettoyée. Les équipements sont parfaits et de très bonne qualité. L’emplacement est vraiment idéal pour découvrir l’île. Très très calme malgré les campings qui cernent le quartier. Proche de la plage. Le clos permet de se sentir à l’écart de tous. Mais très proche des commerces. Nous avons loué des vélos toute la semaine (Unpluscreation sur conseil du propriétaire) absolument parfait également. Bref, une location que nous recommandons à 200%. MERCI

Dans le descriptif c’est la disposition de la maison et son emplacement ainsi que les photos qui ont attiré mon attention. Le descriptif est parfaitement conforme. L’accueil était parfait et la maison parfaite. La cuisine très bien équipée et facile à comprendre . Les chambres simples mais très bien aménagées ainsi que les salles de bains. Le jardin était bien équipé et les jeux tant intérieurs qu’extérieurs très nombreux et en bon état ce qui était parfait avec des petits enfants. J’ai tout apprécié au Clos de Ré : le confort, la lumière, la disposition des pièces, la taille des salles de bains, les équipements et les jeux très nombreux, la proximité de la très grande plage du Gros Jonc, le petit jardin enclos, le calme de la résidence.

La maison est vraiment super agréable, grande , lumineuse avec tout le confort nécessaire. Au calme, sa situation est idéale , 5mn à pied de la plage par un petit chemin privé. Boulangerie/supérette à 5mn aussi . Et surtout , idée géniale du propriétaire: possibilité de faire ses courses en ligne avant d’arriver et la personne qui nous accueille va les chercher au drive le matin et tout est rangé quand on arrive !! C’est top !! Plus besoin de perdre la 1ère journée de vacances au supermarché.

Une maison spacieuse, située sur les dunes et ultrachic

Clos de Ré est située sur les dunes de la plage de Gros Jonc, dans une zone privatisée calme et silencieuse. Un petit panneau en face du portail indique le chemin pour l’océan. La maison est très bien conçue, spacieuse et ultrachic. Cuisine parfaitement équipée et neuve, deux belles salles de bains avec des grandes douches et des lavabos doubles, quatre chambres dont la zone parents est à part, le living est enorme, décoré avec élégance, sobriété et savoir. Dehors tout autour de la maison le « dek » pour marcher à pieds-nus et étendre le linge. Dans le jardin un hamac blue et un fat-boy violet pour bouquiner le jour et admirer les étoiles la nuit. Nous avons adoré nos vacances à l’Ile de Ré, magiques et sans temps. Un grand merci à Jean Christophe pour sa disponibilité.

Absolutely fantastic

The property is fantastic with plenty of space and all the utilities for large busy families. Amazing outside space for lunch and evening meals with fantastic hot plate/bbq. More than enough plates, cups etc so not constantly washing up. We have a dog and it is perfect with him with a walled garden so very secure. The short walk through a beautiful twitten which opens up to the sand dunes and beach is perfect. Local shop is less than 5 mins away and bar / restaurant is next door. We hire bikes and visit La Flotte and Saint Martin. First class holiday. We have never returned to any summer location and accommodation and this was year 2 for us and we will be back again.

Séjour inoubliable à l’île de ré

Nous revenons d'une semaine de vacances dans l’île de ré. Séjour inoubliable en grande partie grâce à la location de la villa. Située à 100 mètres de la plage de gros jonc, elle est parfaite pour 8 à 10 personnes. L'aménagement est fait avec goût et correspond parfaitement au descriptif de l'annonce. En plus. le livret d accueil est complet avec les bonnes adresses restaurants. locations de vélos. musées. De quoi bien remplir une belle semaine de Toussaint ensoleillée. Nous recommandons vivement cette villa pour un magnifique séjour dans cette très belle île plus abordable en cette saison.

Voilà la troisième année que nous venons dans cette très agréable maison dans laquelle on se sent bien. Idéalement située pour les enfants ...et les Parents. La proximité de la plage permet de s'y rendre à pied par un petit chemin dans les dunes. Un endroit calme, sans vis à vis permettant de profiter pleinement de l'Île. En attendant d'y retourner l'An prochain !

Excellent point de base pour découvrir l'île de Ré

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la villa clos de Ré. La maison était tout à fait conforme aux descriptions, très fonctionnelle, spacieuse, lumineuse et parfaitement équipée. L'emplacement est calme et à deux pas de la plage. L'accès au village de Bois-plage se fait très facilement à vélo. Une base idéale pour explorer l'île de Ré.

Ideal for our family holiday

Villa Clos de Re is a super holiday house. We were two families of 4 adults and 5 children and there was plenty of room. The bedrooms are good and the central living/dining/kitchen is perfect. The garden and deck area surround the whole house which is great for the children and the high wall means it is safe. We didn't use the indoor barbecue but enjoyed eating meals outside. Everything was as the description said. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. The basement was handy for storing our bikes and bike rack! The location is fantastic, along a quiet lane but only a 2 or 3 minute walk to a lovely beach and cafe/shop for fresh croissants or ice cream! It's a great base to reach the other villages on the island - many are easy to get it by bike because of the safe cycle paths. The owner provided a 'full fridge on arrival' service for a small charge which was amazing! Everything was there when we arrived so we didn't have to rush out to find a supermarket after a long journey. Communication with the owner was very easy and all information was clear. I would highly reccommend Villa Clos de Re and I think we might even return next year, we loved our stay on Ile de Re!
