Paw Paw Tree Estate and Wedding Venue. Located at the foothills of Petit Jean Mt. next to the Arkansas River. This property will sleep 10 plus two sofa's. This property has garden like setting with huge boulders fountains and pond and private in ground swimming pool. You will be the only family using the pool. Grounds available for weddings under 50. Great spot for that Family Reunion or Retreat. Small parking area near house and more parking located at the end of driveway. We have a three seat golf cart that can be rented to valet your guest up & down the driveway. Owners are a licensed wedding officiants. We also have event items for rent (tables, chairs, etc.) for a small event/wedding. A private boat ramp just across the road for easy access onto the Arkansas River for fishing or duck hunting. Watch the barges on the river from the front porch. Located just 1 1/2 miles to Petit Jean gravesite overlook and 5 1/2 miles to Petit Jean State Park.

Girl get away, 8 of us joined together from 4 state area, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma.❤

Located at the bottom of Beautiful Petit Jean State Park, some hiked, had a picnik at Lake Bailey, enjoyed the pool and the beautiful surroundings of this property. Host was very helpful with all question. Highly recommend👌

Perfect Property

My family and I enjoyed our stay in the perfect place imaginable! Nestled in between the Arkansas River and Petit Jean state Park. Plenty of room for 9 adults and 3 children. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful property, swimming, roasting marshmallows at the fire pit and fishing. The view from the front porch was amazing. The main house and guest house offered plenty of beds and bathrooms, there was lots to do and a kitchen that made cooking for our large family a breeze. Our host Gwen and Bear were very sweet and friendly. We definitely will return.

Amazing!!!

This was the most beautiful place we have ever stayed at. The grounds are like something you would see in Hawaii. The pool is private and surrounded by beautiful trees. The house has everything you could possibly need or want including the best stocked kitchen, pool table and ping pong table, games for kids and adults, and tons of seating. Petit Jean State Park is very close and we spent every day hiking and exploring. This is the absolute best value you will find, and the owners are very sweet and quick with communication.

Wes’s Bachelor Trip

My friends and I often gravitate towards the mountains for fun. Petit Jean has been a favorite destination for our friend group for years, so I thought it would be the perfect place to celebrate Wes’s bachelor trip by booking a stay near Petit Jean.The house had a warm and welcoming atmosphere that allowed friends, both near and far, to reunite and give Wes the best experience possible.When we weren’t out hiking, we made good use of the den for gaming, enjoyed table tennis in the garage, and had barbecues with grilled burgers and hot dogs. It was truly an amazing time that we will cherish for a long time.I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a right-at-home feel that can serve as your stay while enjoying Petit Jean!

So Peaceful

If you are looking for a relaxing stay with a view of the river, this home is the one. It is roomy with inside and outdoor spaces. The pantry was well stocked with essentials although I had cooked in advance in order to enjoy all my time there. The game room and pool area were nice and in the right season, we could have benefited from all the amenities. We came for Petit Jean and had family staying in the cabins and at the campsites. The home was seven miles from them, so it was absolutely perfect for our needs. Next year, we hope to rent both homes and our family will skip the camping and we will all glamp.

Great place!

We absolutely loved this property. The view was incredible, the pool was perfect and with just a short drive to Petit Jean, it really is the best location. My only complaint is that there could have been more communication from the owners. I had to ask for check-in information the day we were arriving and had to ask for check-out procedures as well. The owner was prompt in her replies, but it would have been nice to have received all of that on the front end. Other than that, we had the best time!

Gem in the middle of Arkansas.

We love the house and all the amenities it offered. Pool was a great addition for kids and us after hiking and exploring nearby state parks and trails. The house it self is very specious, nicely located on the hill in the middle of the property. You have all the privacy being anywhere outside, including the nicely located pool. I spent some good amount of mornings sitting on the front patio and enjoying the view of the Arkansas River down in the valley. Surrounding are has lot to offer for daily hikes, bicycle rides, state parks and forests exploration. Even, close by, is located car museum with some very interesting cars ranging form early 1900 till late 1980 era. We with kids play billiard and the ping pong, and in the evening we have had nice fire enjoying the quiet time and relaxing. Really very little mosquitos that was surprising, however many colorful spiders with with spiderwebs between trees that is best to spot in the evenings with some kind of light. The pictures posted by the host don't give the justice for this place. We have had very good time. Thank you.

Gwen grew up in the northeast corner of AR and moved to TX 1980. We would come back to AR for vacations we fell in love the with Petit Jean area.
