Excellent family vacation

It's an excellent place for family vacation. The house is very clean, bright and has a lot of space. It is very well equipped and has a perfect view to the mountains and the seaside. The house is located in an extremely quiet and isolated place and is perfect for those who want to spend some calm and relaxed time during vacation. There are multiple beaches reachable by foot (10-15 minutes) as well as by a car (2-3 minutes). The main beach in the town is equipped with the stationary umbrellas and dressing cabins, which is very convenient. We are very thankful for the property owners who were extremely nice and pleasant to us. All in all it was a great and pleasant experience.

Sehr schönes Haus auf dem Hügel mit Privatssphäre

Wir waren im August 2020 für 15 Tage in diesem schönen, sehr sauberen Haus 13 km vom Flughafen Athen entfernt. 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder. Die Taxifahrt vom Flughafen kostet ca 20 Euro (nachts sind es cas 30 Euro). Das Haus steht auf einem Hügel in ca 800m vom nächsten Strand entfernt. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und stets bemüht alle Wünsche der Gäste zu erfüllen. Im Haus sind 3 Zimmer (2 Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer), wenn jemand auf der Couch im Wohnzimmer schlafen möchte, dann passen maximal 5 Personen in das Haus. Eine vollausgestattete Küche und eine Waschmaschine ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Es gibt auch eine wunderschöne Terasse, die ums Eck geht, so hat immer ein schattiges Plätzchen. Der Garten ist gepflegt und es wachsen dort viele Obstbäume (Granat, Mandarine, Feige, Kakteen mit Feigen). Anfangs hatten wir bedenken wegen der Entfernung zum Strand. Aber diese waren weniger schlimm als befürchtet. Da das Haus auf dem Hügel mit kaum Nachbarn steht, hat man einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf das Meehr. Runterlaufen zum Strand geht zu Fuß wunderbar. Zurück etwas schwieriger aber da dort auch ein Bus fährt, sind es dann nur die letzten Meter, die man noch zu Fuß bewältigen muss. Die Aussicht und die etwas abgelegene Lage ist es auf jeden Fall wert. Vorallem für die, die es etwas ruhiger und ungestört sein beforzugen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt auf dem halben Weg Richtung Strand. Man kann dort alle nötigen Lebensmittel und häuslichen Bedarf besorgen. Der am nächsten gelegene Strand ist ein Sandstrand , der etwas kleiner als die andere Strändeist, aber dafür weniger besucht ist. Allerdings ohne Sonnenschirme. Etwas weiter weg sind noch weitere 2-3 Strände die noch schöner sind. Wobei einer von Ihnen ziemlich Flach ist, was gerade gut für Kinder ist und das Wasser dadurch auch wärmer ist. Es sind Sonnenschirme vorhanden ( Preis im Sommer 2020: 5 Euro für ein Sonnenschirm und 2 Liegen. Am Wochenende 10 Euro). Wenn man nicht jeden Tag zu Fuß laufen möchte, kann man entweder mit dem Büs sehr günstig fahren oder mit dem Taxi (kosten zwischen 5 und 7 Euro je nachdem ob man zu näherem oder etwas weiteren Strand fährt). Gastronomisch ist der Ort auch gut bestückt. Man hat dort die typisch griechischen Angebote wie Gyros, Suflaki, Fisch und Meeresfrüchte und dazu noch ziemlich günstig im Vergleich zu Deutschland. Uns hat es auf jeden Fall dort sehr gefallen und höchstwahrscheinlich werden wir nächstes Jahr wieder dorthin fahren, in dieses Haus.
