The trailer and bathroom facilities on the groups were immaculate! The whole property was well maintained and cared for. Ralph and Robert were very helpful with all things around the property.
This is a great, quiet, relaxing, friendly property. We enjoyed our stay, and used it as a launch point for our canoe. The owners and other guests made is feel very welcome.
We rented a cute trailer and stayed 3 nights. It was spacious and clean and had air conditioning and everything you need except bedding. Even had a bbq at our trailer we had access too! It was so nice! Our kids met and played with so many kids, they also loved it and didn't want to go home! Its soo beautiful up there, we can't wait to go back
Overall it was a great stay. Enjoyed it very much. The dark sky with all the stars was absolutely beautiful. Saw the milky way for the first time in years. The only drawback was having to go to the campground toilets but they were close by.
Great Place will be back!!! Friendly owners and staff, beach was immaculate. clear clean lake!!! We rented theTerry trailer had everything we needed. Washrooms and shower 1 min walk for all the rentals. we had no cell serivice and intermitting wi-fi.

Pas de toilette fonctionnel dans la roulotte, pas d’eau chaude dois faire bouillir l’eau.
Service de literie serait un gros plus surtout que le coût de la location est considérable.
L’accueil as été très chaleureuse et explications du fonctionnement très clair
Very friendly seasonals, amazing walk out beach - super shallow for the little ones - lots of water activities and a great playground for the kids. Friendly/helpful staff.
Only downside was the loudness of the atvs on the nearby roadway.
Very friendly staff welcome you. Smaller property size with excellent playground, sandy beach, shallow water, water slide, floating mats all make it perfect for families with kids under 12 especially. Rental trailers are great. We stayed here as our base to go to Bonnechere caves and Bon echo.
The trailer was great, comfortable for our family. The location is great and there are nice hikes within short driving distances. Having Cloyne right there is handy if you forgot anything.
If you are looking a quiet, private place, this isn't really it. It is a social, busy park with trailer neighbours and the kids playgound very near. This didn't bother us but it may not be for everyone.
Thanks to Robert and Ralph for their warm hospitality!
We had a wonderful family time. We had our our 8 great grandchildren along with their parents which was a very memorable experience for them. We gathered at our campsite for a fire each night as it seemed to be the largest. The kids had a great time swimming, fishing and playing in the playground. Overall it was a fantastic week.
Had a wonderful long weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Ralph was an excellent host and made sure that the whole family was comfortable. See you next year!

About the host
Hosted by Bon Echo Family Campground
Ralph Gentile—Owner
Ralph’s story is the closest you’re going to get to that old TV series “Green Acres” where Eddie Albert and Zsa Zsa Gabor move from Manhattan to a farm. A down town Toronto stock-trader, city slicker Ralph decided he wanted a quieter place in which to raise a family.
In 1975 he bought a small farm south of Napanee and moved his family with him. Since that time he has owned numerous businesses, started the Music By the River annual festival where Avril Lavigne once appeared, was President of the local Optimists Club, was instrumental in the Napanee Pavilion being built, as well as numerous other festivals and events. In 2006 Ralph was declared “Greater Napanee Citizen of the Year.”
Always friendly and willing to help, being a campground owner is a perfect role for Ralph, where he strives to ensure all visitors have a fun, enjoyable, and relaxing experience. Ralph can normally be found puttering around at the campground on weekends.
