This was our second time staying in this little gem, we just love it here. It is such a peaceful location and the views are so pretty. We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening glasses of wine on the octagon dock, it’s just so tranquil, exactly what we needed. We hope to return again and again. Jason is great host and always available if you need him.
My husband, my yorkie and myself spent an entire week at this adorable cottage. We felt at home the minute we walked in. The bed and living room were extremely comfortable and the house had all of the amenities we needed.
The host, Jason, was very quick to respond when I had questions. I would highly recommend this great spot!!
Location to boat ramp, downtown in quiet neighborhood was awesome. Modern and clean coastal feel was fresh and relaxing. Added amenities of firepit, kayaks, boat dock, grill, along with necessary kitchen, bedding, linens etc. made the week so enjoyable.
This house was perfect for my husband, myself and our pooch! The location is beautiful, so quite and peaceful with a beautiful view of the lake. The house was super clean and had everything that you would need to cook etc. There was a grill, which we didn’t use, a hot tub which we did enjoy! We can’t wait to go back in August!
Booking, Check in & out very good. WiFi very good. Overall cleanliness was good at best. We were hopong to be in the water for much of our 90 heat weather but the waterfrront wask at best. It was all shallow & mucky as far as we could walk. It was a good path to the water & lit with saolar lights for evenings. The price was at least 30-35% of what we feel we should have paid compared to our stay last year on the same lake which was great!! We would not go back or recommend this property to others.

We allowed a 3 hour earlier checkin time for your arrival and have fantastic amenities at our cottage including a hot tub. Because of the water entrance (subjective)you are telling future guests that you wouldn't recommend our cottage. We never said we had a private beach or white sands. Every other client that's stayed with us the last 8 years highly recommends our cottage. It seems your review was quite harsh considering.
We stayed for 8 nights while waiting for our home to be built. The location was convenient from a couple of perspectives: kids could walk to the nearby playground or explore the lakeshore; we could run errands in town without losing lots of time. The neighborhood is walkable and quiet. The cottage was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated with quality furnishings. This will be the 1st place I look to when I need additional space for when out-of-town family/friends come to visit.
Great property for single or couple. Clean and modern. It’s small but located in a quiet area, right on the lake. We had a lovely stay and will be back again. Jason was very responsive to messages. Thanks for helping make our Maine visit a memorable one!!
We had a great time at this property. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great stay. It felt private and secluded yet it was close to town. Would love to see this place in summer.
We had a wonderful time at the little lake cottage. Perfect for a small family to get away to experience the feeling of camping, but having all the extras at your fingertips Kayaks, paddle boards, the lake, fire pit, hot tub, washer/dryer, grill, TV, Wifi, full kitchen and bath. Fully equipt!!
This is an awesome cottage, it had everything and then some of what you need! While staying in Newport we also went to Acadia National park which was just a 90 minute drive from Newport. Jason was very responsive and was easy to work with! We stayed a week and was able to drive and see a lot of Maine during our stay and it was super nice to come home to a evening fire and Hot tub!
My family of 5 had a wonderful 3 week stay at the house. The cottage was clean, beautifully decorated, and complete with everything you need for the lake, including plenty of towels, kayaks, firewood, grill, and hot tub for the chilly days. Jason was a very responsive and friendly host, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay
