Hidden Gem

Nice and quiet, tucked away, close to everything. We have never stayed in a condo before, but it was a great experience if you have smaller groups/families.

The Villas

We enjoyed staying on the Sound. We liked being able to go to the dock and walk on the pier. We were close to the activities so that was nice. Driving distance was close.

The townhouse was extremely clean! Our contact person was very quick to respond, not that we needed much of anything because everything was set up for us. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Nice view of the sound from the townhouse. There's a small pier that was a great place to watch the sunset in the evening. My only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer!

We liked the quietness and the location of property, but the condo itself was in need of renovation. Our review is mostly due to the nightmarish and unprofessional behavior of the owner. Our key was left under the entrance mat, with another one key of similar design inside by the door. After checking in we left for dinner and to shop for groceries coming back about 10.30pm. One of the keys provided didn't work so we were locked out away from our bags, crucial medicine and with bags full of perishable food. She told us to call a locksmith or go to a hotel, our party of 3 found a hotel around midnight, totally exhausted and frustrated after driving many hours to get there. She came to unlock the condo the following morning with an attitude, gave us a new key, said the key we used was for another property (how would we know?) but grudgingly gave us a check for the hotel. Wi Fi was crucial for an online University class for our daughter and was not working, neither were some of the electrical outlets. We didn't have Wi Fi the whole stay despite trying to fix it. The owner called our daughter cursing us in the vilest way and even after checking out I received a nasty message from her. Even an insincere apology would have gone a long way for extreme rudeness, stained worn out linens, the occasional roach,disgusting blankets and other issues.We all have traveled extensively in the US and abroad for many years, this is by far the worst experience and almost ruined our vacation.

On the west side of outerbanks

The property gave us adequate space, allowed us to cook in, was near the beach and other amenities. We had a good time with our two grandkids.

every faucet leaked, towels and linens need replaced all stained and old, no queen beds in house yet the sheets on my bed were queen, photos and conversations led to believe it was 1 story but was 2, gas grill needs replaced no gas and grill is rusted thru but the place was mostly clean

Our joyful trip in Outer Banks started from here

Really enjoyed the stay in this property. Very clean and tidy rooms with all the needed linen sheets and beddings, full loads kitchen with all the utensils and glasswares, even has items such as shovel and board for beach driving. Outside of the patio is very nice - great view of the sound. Quiet and friend neigborhoid with private pier for fishing and boat ramp to launch boat or kayak. So close to one of the eight Jaw-dropping sand dune in US. Also, out of the gate, so close to restaurants and shopping places too. Amazing place to stay and have a family vacation!
