Comfortable condo close to mountain biking, swimming pools, national parks

Las Palmas #206 looks northwest toward Snow Canyon State Park with lovely views of the mountainsand the city as well. Enjoy the sunrise and sunset from the large deck of our beautiful condo. We recently remodeled: new paint, new carpet and flooring, new living room furniture, and new mattresses.The well-stocked kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals plus plenty of cupboard space for what you bring with you. There are three good-sized bedrooms, two full baths, and a family room with two hide-a-bed sofas, a double recliner, a big-screen Roku TV, and WIFI. A large table in the dining area seats 8-10 people for those all-important family meals. The condo can easily accommodate up to10 people. The complex has two swimming pools with hot tubs, a walking path, children's playground and shuffleboard. The Hub has a workout area, snacks, pool and ping pong tables, showers, tow hot tubs, and an Olympic-size outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a slide pool, a wading pool, a splash pad, and pickle ball and basketball courts. Just a few blocks away is the BLM managed Zen, Bear Claw, Poppy, and Barrel Ride mountain bike trails offering some of the finest mountain biking in southern Utah. Paved trails are accessed on Dixie Dr. The paved trail goes all around the city and out by the Virgin River. Very nice ride! We have a one-car garage for used for bike/gear storage. An elevator is available for easy access to our unit. We are minutes from downtown St. George, baseball and soccer fields as well as pickleball courts. We are less than hour from Zion National Par, Las Vegas is about a 1.5 hour drive, while Snow Canyon State Park and Tuachan are 20 minutes from our place. Cedar City and the Shakespeare Festival are 45 minutes from our place.Come and stay at our lovely condo while visiting beautiful southern Utah!

Clean, spacious and well-stocked, the condo had everything to make our stay in St. George simply fantastic. The space was warm and inviting. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of bath towels, pool towels, pillows and blankets. The decoration and furniture were well thought out (with nice touches like the luggage racks for suitcases). The large kitchen was well supplied with cooking supplies and condiments. Three large couches with throw blankets and no one wanted to leave! The views on the deck were stunning and we found ourselves out there watching the sunrise, sunset and everything in between. We loved visiting “The Hub” and playing pickleball. So many amenities, I can’t list them all. Lesli and Arthur’s instructions on how to work everything were clear easy to follow. The condo is located in a quiet part of town, easy to get around, markets, shops restaurants all 5 minutes or less away. We hope to come stay again.

We are Art and Lesli Unrein. Lesli grew up in Utah and spent a lot of time boating at Lake Powell and camping in the various national parks. Art is orginally from Colorado and spent time climbing and hiking Colorado's 14ers. We both enjoy skiing, nordic and alpine, water skiing, hiking, biking, and traveling.

Why they chose this property

Several years ago we decided to invest in a rental property where we could maybe retire, but where we could also spend time exploring and having fun with each other and our kids and grandchildren. Our kids are involved in soccer, mountain biking, and come to St. George often for tournaments and competitions. My daughter and I go to the Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City every summer, so now we stay here instead of at a hotel. And, since we live in Northern Utah, we thought it would be nice to get away from the cold once in a while during the winter. The reasons we chose this condo over the many we looked at were the balcony views, the ability to sleep a lot of people, and it's location--close enough to St. George, Snow Canyon, hiking and biking trails, but above the noise and bustle of the city and highways.

What makes this property unique

We love our balcony deck views. We watch the sunrise and sunset, relax with a book, and eat out there when it's not too hot. We enjoy gazing across the valley to Snow Canyon and the beautiful red and white sandstone mountains.
