Cozy, newly renovated 1 bedroom, 1 bath, living room with sofa, computer bar and full kitchen duplex located 1 mile from the historic downtown of Hemphill, Texas. Nestled a few miles from the glistening waters of Toledo Bend lake and Sam Rayburn Lake, top bass fishing lakes in the country.
If you visit us during Hunting Season the Sabine National Forest provides the perfect camouflage to spot a trophy deer!

The space
Newly remodeled:
new kitchen cabinets and brand new appliances- stove and oven, stainless extractor, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot. Smart TV.
📍Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.
No Carbon Monoxide alarm becomes there’s no city nature gas being used or connected in any of our properties.

There’s an open shared front yard and a backyard with a fence that separates the back neighbor.

Just the landing spot we needed

We were in town for my mother in law’s 80th birthday and needed a place to stay at night. This was the perfect landing spot. Communication with the owner was great.

Weekend getaway for the 4th

Was a great location, house, and quick responding host. Low Water pressure and small conflict with the neighbors (not due to us) was only thing bothersome but eventually all things went back to normal!

needs a little improvement

couch is very uncomfortable, water pressure in shower is very low and the hot water takes a long time to get to the shower. The home was very clean and cozy, i would recommend it for a relaxing get away if the couch and shower problems were addressed.

Clean and quiet Casita Sol

Great communication and clean Casita Sol! We needed a place to stay while we cleaned up our lake property. This was close to town and near a great coffee shop. Thanks for the hospitality and sharing your beautiful art!

Casita Sol

Bettine is very kind and easy to work with. She was willing to accommodate our date change due to Hurricane. Casita Sol is spacious even for two people, however it was extremely damp and humid and the bed was not comfortable. We were only given two bath towels and cloths for the 4 days. Normally that would be fine but it was so damp in the room that the towels would not dry between uses. While it is a cute house, I would not stay here again.

We found a leak and fixed it right away. Life always has a twist, if I knew about it I could have solved it sooner.
