Prepare a breakfast feast in the well-equipped kitchen where you're sure to find everything you need. The cabinets have ample storage space for all of your cooking needs and a breakfast bar with 2 stools so you can grab a quick bite on your way out the door. Through the detailed doorway, the dining nook has a wood table with benches to comfortably fit your whole group.

Take a break from your adventures and recline on the comfortable couches in the living area. Spend an afternoon watching movies on the flat-screen Smart TV using the cable and wireless internet access.

The Indian Rocks Beach Nature Preserve has a boardwalk to a dog park and beach that everyone in your group is sure to enjoy during an evening stroll after dinner. When you return, go into either one of the serene bedrooms and cuddle into the plush bedding for another restful night of sleep.

IRB house by the beach

Comfortable clean house in a pretty and walkable neighborhood. A block from the beach (a few more blocks to be by one with public restrooms), close to several places to eat and shop. Lots to do in the area. Loved it.

The property was fine. There was no hot water but after some investigating, I found 2 tripped breakers and the dryer and hot water came on after I flipped the breaker on. The login information for the wifi was wrong but we figured out how to get on by checking the router. Tried to contact the owner through VRBO 3 tomes and once by email and he did not respond at all.

Wonderful little house for pets

This was a great little house with a fenced in backyard for our dogs. It was easy to get to and close to things. Our kids stayed in a condo on the beach so we visited them to go on the beach. Walking distance to nature park for us to take our dogs for walks. Neighbors were friendly. One lady even gave us some fresh mangos. What a treat. The house was clean and everything functional and a lot up to days things. Beds slept wonderfully

Rita’s Blue Cottage is perfect

A lovely cottage in a delightful location a very short walk to Indian Rocks Beach. Thé furnishings and décoré are comfortable and exactly what you need to enjoy this wonderful area. Plenty of beach equipment, a grill and a kitchen with everything you need. But? If you want to eat out? It is located near so many of our favorite places to eat out. Loads (seriously loads!) of closet space, washer & dryer, storage so your stay is neat & organized. Our dogs loved the fenced back yard and we loved the screened porch and cozy white rockers out front. The property people and communication and instructions were great. We hope to visit again soon!

Wonderful location

Location, location, location! This cozy home is located a block or so from the beach, walking distance to a convenience store and many restaurants. The neighborhood is very quiet, safe and friendly. The owners live in the area and are very responsive. There was a minor cable "issue" and Max was over immediately to help remedy the situation. The fenced in yard was great for my furry friend. Even though she doesn't leave my side, it was great for her, and me, just knowing she could be outside safely. Dogs are not allowed on the beach but there is also a very clean and welcoming dog park a couple of blocks away as well. Excellent location and served my purpose of working away from home, aka the cold, extremely well.

Perfect vacation!

Location was great for visiting IRB, Clearwater, Dunedin and Honeymoon Island State Park. The cleanliness of the house was amazing. We loved that this gem was pet friendly! Perfect for my husband and I and our small dachshund to enjoy vacation. Love that it has a fenced in backyard that was secure for our dog and the screened in porch was nice to sit outside with him in the shade. The only thing we noticed were small ants running around on the porch and concrete outside but they did not bother our dog nor us. The street this house is on is very quiet. The bedroom was clean and enough space for just us 2. The bathroom was spotless too! They even have a wagon with beach chairs and an umbrella and plenty of clean beach towels to use at the beach if you choose to do that. The beach was within walking distance if you wanted to walk across just the main road. We enjoyed our stay here!

Great location Close to Beach

Small little place good enough for two people and a dog. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Close to beach only 5 minutes walk. Owners very helpful and co-operative. I will suggest owners to upgrade kitchen pots and pans to a better quality. Dinner plates and Bowls should be Microwave safe.There should be a fan in the screen room.

What a magical trip!

Our family had such a wonderful time staying here! It was just what we needed as in location as well as commodities. It was super clean when we got there, and easy to find. We are the type to cook and eat at home most of the time and the kitchen was equipped to do so although if you like to eat out (which we did one night) you are close to a lot of options. The grocery and local seafood shop were a short drive away as well. Speaking of location, that was the greatest thing about the stay if you like to spend most of your time at the beach. It is literally 100 meters from the beach, and it is a nice beach. Without this location we would have missed watching the baby sea turtles hatching which was a once in a lifetime opportunity! There was also a little wagon with beach chairs and an umbrella that was awesome to use, we totally took advantage of it. We hung out and watched Netflix while winding down from our long days at the beach, the couches were comfy and large enough that we could all kinda spread out. There were also lots of clean towels which is a PLUS when at the beach. We loved IRB and our stay at this place, I cannot recommend enough.

Excellent Rental

Our time at Rita’s Cottage by the Beach was wonderful! The rental was even better than described or what we expected. The location was close to the beach and many restaurants and other establishments. Everything we needed was within walking distance. It was so nice to have a beach wagon provided and a fenced in yard for our dog to enjoy. We would highly recommend this property and hope to visit again soon!

Great stay for family and our dog

Loved our time at Ritas Cottage by the Beach. Location was superb, on a quiet street only a block or so from beautiful Indian Rocks Beach. The house was well equipped and clean. Gas grill and beach chairs, etc were much appreciated amenities. Our dog absolutely loved the fenced in backyard, and spent a lot of time getting to know the next door neighbors dog through the fence. We would not hesitate to recommend Rita's to anyone looking for a place to stay around Clearwater/Indian Rocks Beach area. WiFi was super fast as well, beds were comfy, and plenty of hot water. We'll be back next spring hopefully.

Wonderful location!

The owners were very responsive and friendly, prompt in communication and in providing us with whatever we needed. The beach house is sweet with a screened -in lanai and ample backyard which our kitties really enjoyed. Best of all is the location so close to the beach yet on a quiet block for a serene and enjoyable vacation!

We had such a wonderful time here! The house was perfect for my husband and I and our two small kids! The beach was so easily accessible and could walk with the kids every morning! Also walking distance to great restaurants and we loved the backyard and screened in porch! Would definitely stay here again and we were sad to go!

Cute little beach home

This house was perfect for what we needed. It was close proximity to the beach and of course larger more touristy towns are all about a half hour drive. We brought our dogs so the fenced in back yard was perfect! Added plus is the little wagon loaded with beach stuff to include a beach umbrella. If you’re in the area and need a cute little beach cottage I would definitely recommend.

In 2006 Max and Rita were on business in Indian Rocks Beach and fell in love with the sand, sun, and family-friendly vacation community of Indian Rocks Beach. On a chance drive down Gulf Boulevard, they stumbled onto what would later become their first property in IRB.
Fast forward to 2022 and they have become full-time residents and own 6 properties in IRB, hosting families from across the world, and sharing their little slice of paradise all year long. Short-term and seasonal rentals are available and they invite you to experience the ambiance, community, and the people that made them trade in their New Jersey winters for the beach life that can only be found in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida.
