Week in the Mountains

Our week at Cabin on the Bluff was everything we could have hoped for. The views were just as stunning as the pictures, and the cabin itself was perfect for our group. Tannah was incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions we had throughout our stay.

The house is located in an awesome spot above Lake City with privacy from neighbors. House was clean upon arrival. Really enjoyed our stay at this house.

This was a great stay for the group we had. The grandsons spent a great amount of time at the pond. Throwing Rocks, pretend fishing and even found a CROC (fell off his foot into the pond ). It was clean and had everything we needed!The fridge had an unpleasant odor but nothing that a box of baking soda couldn’t fix. I would mention the wood stove area and the steps when advertising the cabin for rentals. This could be a hazard for elderly or small children. There was large furniture filling the living area so not much walking room between furniture and steps to wood stove. I mistepped and took a tumble backward hitting the wood-stove. I have some big bruises and a broke toe to show for it but thankfully I didnt hit my head. Loved our view of the mountains each morning. Unfortunately the Elk Fire was burning our entire trip and by the last day we were in the ready set evacuation area. Praying for Lake City.

Best view in Lake City

This was our second year at this property. The view off the porch every night was amazing. There are ample beds and bedrooms. We love the deer and marmots.

Colorado SxS fun

This rental was great. Had everything we needed for our 2 week adventure. Plenty of parking for our trucks and trailers and the house was more than roomy for our group of 10. The bed arrangement was a little different than the listing but nothing we couldn't handle and work with. We saw plenty of wildlife just in the yard, which was great. I will say for us southerners (where everyone has to have AC, so never knew places exsisted that didn't have them or would be listed as an amenity if they did) there is no AC so it did get warm in the afternoons but again nothing we couldn't handle, we are from Mississippi so this warm wasn't that horrible. A few more fans would have made it perfect. Overall this house was exactly what we needed and was a great addition to a wonderful trip!

Great house, spectacular view!

This house was perfect for our travel group made up of six adults and three kiddos. It was clean, comfortable and you just can't beat the view from the kitchen, living room and deck. We spent a lot of quality time outside and it was wonderful to be on the deck, overlook the town and see the mountains morning, noon and night. That is just one reason why Lake City is our "Happy Place". We did have some issues with the wifi not working well once we got signed in, but that was a small blip in an otherwise very positive experience. Anytime we needed anything, Tannah was available and responsive. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
