The property lies in the principality of Seborga where in 1117 the first nine Templar knights were ordained and is the first unique sovereign Cistercian State in history. The property is situated on the edge of a protected park reserve over looking the principalities of Seborga and Monaco with majestic unobstructed views of the French Riviera coast line as far as the hills of San Tropez. An experience of authentic Italian country living while in close proximity to vibrant cities such as San Remo, Bordighera, Menton and Monte Carlo.
Never far from the sea or the ski resort of Limone. The area is steeped in historic and wonderful architecture of eras gone by and is speckled with quaint and wonderful villages. The spectrum of shops is never ending and fine cuisine is everywhere with the area having one of the finest restaurants in Italy.

We enjoyed our stay in Serborga!

As a family with children aged 10-19 we enjoyed this property very much. Especially the awesome view from the balcony (mountains and ocen, sunsets and stars), the several sitting areas around the house (seated in sunny/ shadowy places depending on the day time) and the easy and friendly communication with Sabine and Rocky. Thank you for your hospitality!

One of the best locations ever!

It was an awesome trip! The flat is even bigger than expected. It has a nice big balcony, a large living and a dining room, and the sleeping rooms were also great! It is nicely and tasteful furnished. The kitchen has everything needed and of good quality. Especially our children loved the pool! It's about eight meters long, so you can even swim and dive within. There's also a cozy chilll-out lounge, and there are some sun-loungers to relax. Really outstanding is how nice and supportive Sabrina and Rocky are! When we arrived, we had an issue with our car (late in the evening). Sabrina managed to organize help and came down to Bordighera to pick us up. That was our rescue! Later she also gave us some useful tips, and offered some of her self-grown zucchini. In summary, it was definitely worth the price, and we loved it!

Perfekter Ort für einen perfekten Urlaub

Wir haben die Ruhe sehr genossen. Trotz der Abgeschiedenheit (Seborga ist ca. 8 km vom mehr Meer über Serpentinen zu erreichen) sind viele Ausflugsziele wie Monte Carlo und Nizza schnell zu erreichen. Das Haus ist umgeben von einem schön angelegten und gepflegten Garten und der Poolbereich ist groß und sauber. Wir haben einige Tage einfach am Pool genossen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses und der Küche ist super- es war alles da was wir brauchten. Seborga ist wunderschön und Sabina eine sehr bemühte Gastgeberin. Herzlichen Dank nochmals.

Heerlijk!

Wat een uitzicht! Daar bleven we maar naar turen en zullen we niet snel vergeten. Fijn huis, fijne terrassen en een heerlijk zwembad dat verkoeling bood tijdens de warmste dagen van de zomer. Relaxte en flexibele gastvrouw Sabine. Ook leuk: het dorospleintje op loopafstand voor een koffie, maaltijd of dorpsfeest met voetjes van de vloer:-)

Zwei erholsame Wochen mit wundervoller Aussicht

Wir waren im Sommer 2024 mit unseren 4 Kindern (13, 7, 5 und 2 Jahre alt) in dieser Wohnung und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. In der Umgebung gibt es viele tolle Ausflugsziele, von historischen Zielen über schöne Landschaften und traumhafte Strände ist alles dabei. Und auch das Dorf Seborga besticht durch seinen ganz besonderen Charme und die tollen Dorffeste, die im Sommer zwei Mal wöchentlich stattfinden. Auch wenn die größeren Supermärkte etwas weiter entfernt sind (ca. 20-30 Autominuten), gibt es in Seborga einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen für das Nötigste. Das Grundstück und die Aussicht von der Wohnung sind wirklich traumhaft und lassen schnell Urlaubsentspannung aufkommen. Die Wohnung selbst hat der Beschreibung und unseren Erwartungen voll entsprochen. Besonders der private Poolbereich hat uns gefallen. Sabina und Rocky sind als Vermieter genau so, wie man es sich wünscht - die perfekte Mischung aus guten Tipps, schneller Hilfe bei Problemen (in unserem Fall Mittelohrentzündung der Tochter, hier hat sich Sabina schnell und unkompliziert für einen Arzttermin eingesetzt) und nicht zuletzt angenehmer Diskretion. Von unserer Seite daher volle Empfehlung für diese Ferienwohnung, uns hat es sehr gefallen!

Fantastisch

Wij hebben fantastische 2 weken gehad. Het is een prachtige locatie. We werden vriendelijke ontvangen. De eigenaren wonen ook op het terrein, maar hier merk je niets van. We hadden volledige privacy. Huis is netjes en schoon. In werkelijkheid mooier dan op de foto's. Prachtige uitzicht. Ook werden wij verrast door de gastvrouw met groente en fruit uit eigen tuin. De omgeving is geweldig. Leuke plaatsen in de nabije omgeving. In Seborga zelf vind 2 keer per week leuke en gezellige dorpsfeest plaats. Vanaf de accommodatie loop je hier in 5 minuten heen. Kortom een prachtige locatie en zeker een aanrader.

Schönes Ferienhaus mit Pool

Pro: - sehr nette, hilfsbereite Vermieter, die einen sogar mit Obst aus dem eigenen Garten versorgen - ruhige Lage mit toller Aussicht - schöner, sauberer Pool; allerdings nur zur Abkühlung geeignet - für sportliches Schwimmen zu klein Neutral: - Ausstattung von Küche und Bäder gut, aber manches dürfte mal technisch überholt werden - Anfahrt zum Ort und zum Grundstück gewöhnungsbedürftig (für uns okay; aber für Leute mit größeren Autos könnte es schwierig werden) Contra: - die Schlafräume sind schwer zu erreichen (enge Wendeltreppe; für uns okay, aber für ältere oder gehbinderte Menschen könnte es schwierig werden) - die Schlafräume sind sehr warm bereits Anfang Juni; das könnte im Sommer sehr heiß werden Extra: - es wäre klasse, wenn es auf dem Balkon eine Markise oder zumindest einen Sonnenschirm gäbe

Great Location

We spent 2 wonderful weeks of vacation in the small principality of Seborga. The apartment is on the slope across from Seborga. This means that the way to the holiday apartment is of course on serpentine roads and a bit steep. but... the view of Seborga, the sea and the cote d`azur is fantastic and priceless. The apartment is big enough and has all the essentials. The garden is terraced and very nicely laid out. The pool is gorgeous and big enough for swimming and several air mattresses. To seborga (very nice place) it is less than 10 minutes on foot. There is a small supermarket and several restaurants (the Osteria del Coniglio is particularly recommended). There is a lot to discover, dolceacqua, san remo, Grotte di Toirano, whale watching, hiking around Seborga and much more. Sabina and rocky are very warm, friendly and helpful at all times. There are also insider tips if you want. Thank you Sabina and Rocky, we had a wonderful holiday in the principality of seborga villa appartment.

In den Bergen mit traumhaftem Blick auf das Meer

Tolle Wohnung in wunderschöner Umgebung.Schöne Sitzplätze mit toller Sicht auf das Meer oder auf der Terrasse im wunderschön angelegtem Garten mit der Möglichkeit zu Grillen.Der Pool ist super schön .Hier gibt es Liegestühle und eine kleine abgeschattete Bar mit Kühlschrank,welchen man bestücken kann.Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit.Auch bei Problemen mit unserem Auto haben sie uns sofort und kompetent geholfen.Wir kommen gerne wieder.

A very special place!

We had the most perfect holiday - the location is out of this world, with views that are spectacular during the day and at night, with the lights of monaco twinkling in the distance. The property has everything you need, with a wonderful pool, outside bar and hammock for relaxing. And that view with a G&T at sundown cannot be beaten! Sabina and Rocky were super helpful in ensuring we had everything we needed and very accommodating allowing my brother to visit us whilst we were staying. And as others have said, Sabina’s tomatoes were indeed amazing! My children (aged 10 and 7) loved it and were sad to leave but happy memories made. A very special place!

Entspannung pur

Um es kurz zu machen, wir hatten einen der besten Urlaube in einer unglaublich ruhigen und entspannten Atmosphäre. Das Apartment übertraf nicht nur aufgrund des wirklich malerischen Blickes auf das Meer und zugleich in das Tal unterhalb Seborgas, sondern auch aufgrund des unaufdringlichen Charmes der Vermieter. So wurden wir mit Gemüse aus dem eigenen Anbau und mit guten Tipps zu Unternehmungen und Essen versorgt. Das unaufdringlich aber auf Nachfrage mit großer Freude und Enthusiasmus Wissen um Land und Leute, dass in keinem Reiseführer zu finden ist, war in allen Fällen besonders. Das Apartment verfügt über keine Klimaanlage, auf diese kann aber aufgrund der Lage in den Bergen und dem zumeist dort vorhanden Luftzug gut verzichtet werden. Ventilatoren sind hingegen im Haus vorhanden. Die Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer ist den ganzen Tag in der Sonne. Die zweite Terrasse auf der anderen Hausseite ist hingegen abends im Schatten und auch ein Grill ist vorhanden. Die terrassenförmig angelegte Außenanlage ist malerisch und führt über einige Treppenstufen zu einem Pool, den wir zur alleinigen Nutzung hatten. Am Pool befindet sich eine kleine Bar mit Kühlschrank, die man bestücken kann und dann auch mal einen entspannten Tag am Pool machen kann. Die Küche, die umfängliche Ausstattung mit Geschirr und Küchenutensilien ausgestattet ist, stellt alles bisher diesbezüglich erlebte in den Schatten. Einziges Manko ist der doch sehr steile Aufstieg aus dem Wohnzimmer zu den Schlafzimmern im Dachgeschoss. Die hier eingebaute sehr enge Wendeltreppe ist für nicht mehr ganz körperlich fitte Personen ein kleines Hindernis. Alles in allem aber ist das Apartment von Sabina und Rocky in Seborga eine ganz besondere italienisch herzliche Möglichkeit seinen Urlaub gleichzeitig in den Bergen und am Meer zu verbringen. Gerne jeder Zeit wieder. Vielen Dank an Sabina und Rocky:-)

Heerlijk verblijf in een hele mooie omgeving

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad. Huisje was mooi, omgeving fantastisch. Prive zwembad was meer dan genoeg voor ons om af te koelen en voor de kinderen om in te spelen. Het lag een beetje afgelegen, een half uurtje van de snelweg over kleine weggetjes met haarspelden recht omhoog. Hierdoor was de omgeving en het uitzicht voortreffelijk en ook heel rustig. Voor een grotere supermarkt, het strand, andere stadjes moest je dus wel een tijdje in de auto zitten. Seborga is een mooi dorpje, op donderdag en zaterdagavond is er een dorpsfeest, heel gezellig, goed eten, goed drinken en zang en dans. Eigenaren zijn heel aardige mensen, ze helpen je met alles, geven uitleg. We zijn heerlijk uitgerust weer naar huis gegaan.

Wonderful place

The position of this apartment is perfect and the views are utterly spectacular. You can walk into the village, there is a choice of restaurants and you are only a short drive from the sea and other lovely villages. The lady who runs it is very kind and kept giving us home grown vegetables as well as good recommendations for places to visit. Highly recommend.

Auf der Suche nach einem erholsamen Urlaub fanden wir dieses Schmuckstück in Seborga. Ein Ferienhaus mit Terassen nach Osten und Westen, gepflegter Gartenanlage und einem sagenhaften Swimmingpool. Landschaftlich großartig gelegen - der Blick auf das Meer und dazu im Hintergrund die Berge sind an sich schon erholsam. Dazu diese perfekt angelegte kleine Badelandschaft mit Bar und Minikühlschrank und Außendusche und großzügigem Schwimmbecken, das nur von uns genutzt wurde.... Und vermietet wird das Haus von sehr sympathischen Besitzern: Sabina und Rocky haben diese perfekte Mischung aus Nähe und Distanz! Wir wurden super versorgt mit Tomaten, ligurischer Tarte und Rezept dazu, selbstgemachter Pasta, Einkaufstipps, Ausgehtipps, Infos zu guten Stränden - und gleichzeitig völlig in Ruhe gelassen. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass wir jederzeit alles fragen können und gleichzeitig ganz für uns sind - das war sehr entspannt! Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet mit allem, was wir für einen Urlaub brauchen. Seborga ist ein freundlicher, kleiner Ort (Fürstentum :)), der einige nette Gassen, Gebäude und Geschichte bietet, im Sommer mindestens zweimal pro Woche ein Dorffest veranstaltet, auf dem wir gut gegessen haben (und über Musikgeschmack lässt sich ja bekanntlich streiten). In der Nähe befinden sich viele spannende Orte, wobei wir so derart entspannt waren, dass wir manchmal ganze Tage am Pool verbracht haben - und uns die Altstadt von San Remo, Bordighera, der Markt von Ventimiglia oder die Balzi Rossi gar nicht mehr so sehr anzogen. Wir können dieses Haus von Herzen empfehlen - und bedanken uns noch einmal für diese wunderbare Zeit!! Familie Faix, Marburg

Fantastic Rental

We have been to Seborga before and wanted a place with a view of the Principality and the Mediterranean--that's exactly what we got. It is hard to describe how beautiful this property is. At night one can sit on the balcony and look straight down to the glittering lights of Monaco. At dawn you can watch those same lights fade and the beauty of the Riviera and the Med come into full view. The owners of the property are wonderful. They checked on us throughout the week to make sure we had everything we needed (which we did) and wouldn't even let us take the trash with us when we left. The apartment is spacious and comfortable and a short, easy walk to the restaurants and other delights of Seborga.

Wohnung an toller Aussichtslage in schöner Gartenanlage

Wir haben mit vier Kindern, d.h. zu sechst, eine Woche in dieser Wohnung verbracht. Der Buchungsprozess und die Kommunikation im Vorfeld mit den Eigentümern, die im selben Haus wohnen, war unkompliziert und schnell. Die Wohnung befindet sich an einer wunderschönen Aussichtslage – man sieht von der Terrasse und vom Pool aus auf das malerische Dörfchen Seborga und auf das dahinterliegende Meer. Die kurvige Fahrt an die Küste (Bordighera) ist etwa 10 km lang. Als wir in der Wohnung ankamen, waren wir überrascht über das Raumangebot der (Schlaf-)Zimmer: Sie befinden sich beide unter dem Dach, das heisst mit starker Einschränkung durch die Dachschräge. In einem Zimmer, in dem alle vier Kinder schliefen, war ein aufrechtes Gehen nur gerade in der Mitte, entlang des Dachfirsts, möglich – überall sonst musste man sich gebückt hinbewegen. Dieses Zimmer hat kein Fenster in der Mauer, sondern nur ein kleines Dachfenster. Es wird deshalb sehr heiss darin. Zwar sind elektrische Lüfter vorhanden, die aber die Luft nur bewegen, nicht kühlen. Von diesem Zimmer gibt es keine Fotos auf der Webseite der Wohnung, weshalb wir im Vorfeld um einen Grundrissplan der Wohnung gebeten hatten, ein solcher aber nicht zur Verfügung gestellt werden konnte. Das zweite Schlafzimmer unter dem Dach hat zusätzlich zum Dachfenster eines in der Mauer, und die Höhe ist bis ca. in der Mitte des Zimmers so, dass man aufrecht gehen kann. Durch die beiden Fenster ist es möglich, Durchzug zu machen, so dass es weniger heiss wird. Ebenfalls im Dachgeschoss befindet sich ein zweites Bad, welches auch stark abgeschrägt ist. Es fehlt der Wasseranschluss in der Dusche, so dass nur das Waschbecken und die Toilette benutzt werden können. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist generell von nicht sehr hoher Qualität – der Salontisch wackelt, Schränke und Vitrinen wirken billig. Es hat keine Geschirrspülmaschine (ist allerdings im Beschrieb auch nicht erwähnt – wir ginge aufgrund der bisherigen Erfahrungen mit Wohnungen dieser Grössenordnung «automatisch» davon aus, dass es eine hat). Mehrere Einrichtungen waren defekt: Ein abgebrochener Griff an einer Küchenschublade, die Kaffee-Maschine war undicht wie auch die Toilette im Bad des unteren Geschosses, welche immer einen See von Wasser um sich herum produzierte, was sehr unangenehm war. Insgesamt waren wir etwas enttäuscht über die «inneren Qualitäten» der Wohnung. Die Aussicht und der Garten hingegen haben einen ganz anderen Eindruck gemacht

A calm relaxed comfortable retreat

We spent two relaxing weeks in Seborga and enjoyed every minute. The views from the apartment are fantastic, both day and night. The accommodation was clean , comfortable and well equipped with a spiral staircase up to the bedrooms. We loved the poolside area and the landscaped terraced gardens, the pool was refreshing and big enough for a swim. The village has plenty of restaurants to suit all budgets and if you are lucky enough to be there when they have a Festa you must go and eat with the locals. Sabina was an excellent host and guide, we discovered points of interest and places to park which we wouldn't have found ourselves. There are some beautiful hill top villages to discover in the surrounding area and we made the most of our nippy little Twingo which is a must for the winding, narrow roads . It easily took our 2 walk on cases, a massive holdall and 3 people plus shopping which you should do in bulk when in Ventimiglia. Use the toll roads for trips, you can be in France in 30 minutes, Monte Carlo in 25 as the local roads are very busy in the summer months, great to meander along when you are in the mood but not when you have a destination in mind. We would definitely recommend this property to others. Lisa , Nick and George (aged 10).
