​Hurricane Update:

The entire complex is built on pillars more than 20 feet off the ground. The condo sustained no damage, we have been accepting guests for several weeks, the pool has been completely drained, acid washed, refilled and we have installed a new pump, a new filter and all new equipment. The pool has never looked better, the beaches are open, the restaurants are open and the weather is fantastic.

Look in almost any direction, and there are views of the bay, the gulf, and even downtown Sarasota. Steps away from the white sand beaches of Gulf of Mexico, this 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo at Baywatch is located high up in the treetops near the shore of Anna Maria Sound. Renters can enjoy the peek-a-boo bay views from the oversized open-aired balcony. Located on the top floor with just one adjoining condo below, Baywatch 8B with windows on all four sides, is a true vacation getaway.

The first bedroom has a queen bed, glider rocker, cable TV, large walk-in closet with extra supplies, and an attached full bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed, twin bed, TV/monitor, and a large walk-in closet where guests will find plenty of gear for the beach. Another full bathroom is located adjacent to the second bedroom. The living room offers a comfy sleeper sofa, an oversized chair, and a large flatscreen cable TV. The dining room has a table, chairs, and bar stools at the counter providing plenty of room for a family meal or game night fun. The fully-equipped kitchen has everything needed to prepare and share meals together, whether enjoying views from the kitchen table, as a group in the dining room, or on the oversized open-aired balcony while taking in the wonderful gulf breezes. Baywatch 8B is within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and activities. Renters can leave their car in a covered parking spot and walk, bike, or take the trolley and explore the seven-mile island. Some favorite local restaurants include Smoqehouse, Wicked Cantina, Beach House, and Gulf Drive Cafe. Historic Bridge Street Village with shops, restaurants, and a fishing pier; Leffis Key with nature trails and beautiful views; and Anna Maria Island City Pier with fishing docks, restaurants, and shopping are great places to explore. Baywatch 8B is the perfect spot to enjoy the sunrise through the treetops over the bay, build castles in the sand, take a dip in the pool, and watch the sunset from the beautiful white sands of Bradenton Beach.
