Amazing week!

We had an amazing week in early September - the waterfront was great, the cottage was very spacious and clean, and Jenn was extremely responsive with any questions we had. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Great Place

This place was great for a family vacation! our kids had a blast in the sand and caught fish off the dock. Jen was great answering questions. the cottage had lots of room for everyone and our dog. the cottage was well stocked with everything we needed. we hope to visit again

Fantastic

We just got back from an amazing week kicking off summer holidays at Magic in Muskoka. It was the perfect place for two families to meet up and get away from the business that life with kids in travel sports brings. There was ample room for 2 families and lots of activities for the kids and adults alike. The cottage is spacious, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. The hosts were extremely helpful and easily accessible to answer any questions. We are so thankful for their generosity. Highly recommend this gem on Wood Lake.

nice cottage but needs improvement

The location of the cottage is good, however the interior needs a lot of improvement. The downstairs bedrooms are very poorly furnished, no closets to hang cloth, the comon area downstairs, needes some care, the furniture are very poor looking. Upstairs the living room and kitchen are beautiful, the bedroom upstairs is ok, the bed with the bunkbeds, has a closet with no door.The cottage was clean on the inside, exept taking off the bed compforter there was gras clippings on the mattress. Outside it needed some cleaning up as well, the deck should have been swept, and debris from the animals removed. The place is really overcharged.

Sorry to hear you didn’t love the cottage: downstairs bedrooms both have full dressers for clothes, and is fully furnished-lovely. Outside…it is fall-we cannot control pine needles and leaves which drop after they are blown within hours…part of the cottage experience. Perhaps your review is because the neighbours who rent are your friends? Eliminate some competition. All unfortunate, as we go out of our way to give our guests a great experience.

Great place for family and more

Loved this property, nice beach area for our toddler as well as a good dock for hanging out. Cottage was very clean and well stocked, great layout for families with large open space in the upstairs. Jenn was very easy to deal with and responded quickly to all questions. Would fully recommend this cottage as it had all the comforts of home in a beautiful lake setting.
