3. Boat trailers must be parked in the driveway which can accommodate a 24' long trailer. Most marinas offer boat trailer storage, but availability can be limited. Ask a Tahoe Getaways agent for a referral.

I rented this property for my son and his family - the property is very nice. After my son checked out he was called by your company and the woman he spoke to say she would make notes. The balcony railing is very unstable in the middle and off to the right - not safe for families with you kids. Should really be addressed. The only other thing my son mentioned was the downstairs bathroom faucet would not pop up - that should be an easy fix and should have been caught by housekeeping. Overall the place was lovely

Fantastic Location

Really enjoyed our stay, the location is perfect to bike, walk, drive to a few of our favorite restaurants (West Shore Cafe for happy hour, Sunnyside Market - best pizza and of course all the great places in Tahoe City). Lots of hiking around the cabin, the trail along the lake makes it easy for running, biking or walking long distances if you want. The private pier access (and small beach) is so great to have, especially if you want to rent jet ski’s, paddle boards or kayaks for the day (which you can right down at Homewood or Sunnyside- so easy), or if you have little ones- hot dog crawdad finding off the pier is always a fun after dinner activity. You don’t get the sunset but you do get the beautiful sunrise if you wake early enough- I suggest a walk down to the pier and then on to Firesign Cafe for breakfast. We had ages ranging from 12 to 50 and everyone loved this cabin and the location. My only suggestion for the owner would be to provide fans in the summer- the cabin gets quite hot and uncomfortable, even with the windows and doors open there isn’t much of a cross breeze on hot days- this makes for an uncomfortable sleep. It was pretty hot the 2nd half of our week. The appliances (dishwasher and range) are a bit outdated and took some time to figure out but not a big deal! Overall a fantastic rental- and I’ve rented too many cabins to count- I would definitely rent this one again.

A Perfect Retreat

We just returned home from our stay in Tahoe Pines, Interlaken Lodge and we miss it already! Everything was better than the photos (if that's possible), homey, and well-appointed. Having a rental property ourselves, we really appreciated the clean decor from floor to ceiling (no "To the Lake" signs, clean carpets, use of tile etc). it was tastefully styled, was easy on the eye, and perfect for our tired souls. Our family also appreciated the games, books, and stocked cooking supplies but do bring your own spices as there weren't any in the pantry. I echo the response from other renters, "We will be back!" It was a blessing of refreshment for all 7 of us as we spent a few days taking in the fresh air (a little snow!) and resting in a warm, cozy home. Finally, our compliments and appreciation to the owners and Tahoe Getaways for making the process so inviting and easy. Thank you!

Great Home!

This home was great for me, my husband and 4 kids (14,11,9 & 6). We came to ski at Homewood Ski resort which was only a 4 minutes drive from the house. The house is very nicely decorated, has comfortable furniture and the fireplace is very easy to use and puts out a lot of heat. Everything worked well in the house (TV, internet, appliances etc.). The location of this house is awesome. It's located only a few minutes walk from the lake and a 10 minute drive to Tahoe City. We can't wait to come here again and we are planning on visiting both in the Summer and Winter!

A few other notes. The kitchen and master bedrooms with the owners' personal items were not locked at all. There were not enough bars of hand soap. There should have been some at the kitchen sink re Pandemic frequent-washing. There was absolutely no laundry soap available. Also we couldn't get into the private beach at one point because the code was changed and I don't get a notification. Then the gate was stuck another time and we had to rely on an insider letting us in

Cozy Property

Couldn't ask for a better stay! Property was cozy and equipped with everything my family needed for us to have a home away from home. Property is close to shops and restaurants. Was a treat to be greeted by the neighborhood dog, Willy, one morning who followed us along our morning walk! Great stay. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. I do have a few comments. The water pressure in the downstairs shower was very low the whole time, which made showering very difficult. Also, the floor of that bathroom still had a lot of hair and dog hair, so the cleaners should do a better job cleaning the floors. In the living room, there were no lamps. It would help to have a couple of lamps in the room, next to the sofa/chairs, and on the long console table.

The cabin was beautiful, clean and nicely furnished. It is located in a quiet neighborhood not far from the shore and from Homewood ski resort. It snowed twice during our stay which made it even more magical. The only thing that would bring it to a 5 star review would be a bathroom upgrade, especially the very low flow shower of the master bedroom but it's a detail.
