Suggest the listing notes accessibility points eg. steps to accom plus the steep walk to/from CBD. Was fine for us but may be the difference for others.Would be useful to have stairs lit at nighttime. The outdoor light only lights the deck.

Hi Ellen, thank you for your helpful feedback. We’re glad the stay worked well for you overall.
We appreciate your suggestions regarding accessibility notes and will look at updating the listing to better highlight the steps and steep walk to/from the CBD so guests can make an informed choice. We’ll also take your point about the outdoor lighting on board, as improving stair visibility at night is a great suggestion for safety and comfort.
Thanks again for staying with us and sharing this—it’s very useful. - DPM Team
We loved the Alley apartment. It was spacious, light, and clean. The bed is huge and comfortable.
While it's not a long walk to the central business district, be aware that it's hilly and there's some road construction that requires detours.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. There were some discrepancies with the listing that the property management team resolved after my follow up. The place was clean and well kept. Only issues were that the street parking was a bit challenging to find and the apartment is behind the main house, which resulted in a couple awkward moments where our gaze met the people staying in the main residence as we walked to the apartment entryway.
If you are looking for a property within walking distance to all your excursions, restaurants and the shops in downtown Queenstown, this is your place. It had everything we needed for our 10 night say. The king size bed was very comfortable and the hotel sheets made it even better. Our unit did not have parking, which due to all the construction in the area was a challenge. Make sure and understand all the street parking restrictions as the do enforce the parking and tickets are issued frequently.
Quaint place, good location and views however that’s kind of where it stops. The bed is two singles pushed together so you’ll sink in the middle making it very uncomfortable. The bedding is also very interesting, the doona/duvet is a bare doona/duvet with two sheets either side so not very hygienic as you’ll end up touching the doona/duvet itself. Pillows are terrible and thin and the pillow cases don’t even fit. Kmart is down the road, no idea why you wouldn’t buy a cheap bedding set for the property?
The stove top had only one burner working and the hot water for the shower was lukewarm at best.
Despite what the listing says, there is no parking for the apartment, street parking is very limited. You have to park at least 5-10 min walk away…and up hill!
There are far better places to stay in Queenstown for the same price, we unfortunately won’t be returning to this accommodation.

Hi Siobhan,
We are sorry you were disappointed with your stay at the Alley Apt. We take our guests experiences and advertising of the property very seriously. Had we been advised of the maintenance issues you had experienced we would have gotten them looked at during your stay.
Please note it states on the advertising very clearly (twice) there is no carparking provided with the property and it is street parking only. As the property is walking distance to town and all of Queenstown’s attractions it is the perfect placed property where a car isn't necessary.
The bedding we use is a hotel style set up since we hire our linen in from a professional laundry - this is to ensure it is more hygienic than using a duvet cover as the sheets are changed after each guest stay and there are extra onsite as well as a full laundry if you wish to launder as you go.
Thanks again for your feedback and staying wtih us in Queenstown.
Divine Property
Fantastic location with everything we needed for a family of four, with two under the age of 7. House was very clean and comfortable. Water pressure in the shower wasn’t great but it did ensure we didn’t run out of hot water. All in all a great place that we’d rent again.
